When i read the article about his Judas I was fuming yes. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/3671149/claude-puel-expects-to-be-sacked-at-southampton-and-has-already-held-secret-talks-with-ligue-1-side-st-etienne/ sorry just don't like snakes
-
you're probably right Shance mate - just made my blood boil when I thought of him sneaking off behind Reeds back.
-
Everton have the right idea. If players want out then slap massive fees on their heads and dont negotiate for less. Lukaku 100m Barklay 50m Stones 50m We are a soft touch and thats why Liverpool keep wanting to buy from us.
-
Puels position and future at SFC became untenable when he sneakily went for interviews with St. E

Like last summer
-
Tuchel to Sevilla I suspect
-
Exactly this! Sticking a price tag on a player is last century stuff, im amazed people like Lord D n Micky are so out of touch. "not for sale" gets the bidding wars going Liverpool: "40m" lol not for sale Chelsea: "50m" lol not for sale Man C: "60m" not for sale Chelsea: "80m" not for sale Wigan: "100m" ok sold

Im getting you a full SWF member too if we appoint Tuchel. You and MLG getting the full memberships, you can post and PM all day. + £50 down on us finishing top 6 again next season
-
Tell you what if Tuchel is appointed ill send you £5 so you can register as a full member. That's a Heisenberg promise
-
Nice cheeky return for our Kat - better than leaving her money in her bank thats for sure.
-
Tuchel is now 2nd favorite with the bookies (4/1) glad I jumped in previously while he was 50/1 Gary Monk is still bookies fav at 2/1 Reminds me of last summer when we had great candidates being linked and odds dropped on Pellegrini at one stage to 1/10 - then we appointed Puel from almost nowhere. Kind of expecting Reed to deliver similar disappointment this summer - either an underwhelming appointment or equally bad keeping Puel
-
He will be on a lot more than 45k a week. The financials had £85m a year on wages, so assuming most of that goes on the first team then a squad of 25 the average wage is £60-65,000 per week. You will have some earning 10-20k PW and key players like VVD earning close to 100k PW imho (similar to the reported Cáceres weekly wage) Puel is paid 3.2m a year (62k a week) Would not like to see what Les (and Ralph) pays himself........
-
Always the extreme examples used to prove the point... Ill see your Sunderland and raise you Spurs. They are a Level 2 side and manage to stop level 1 clubs from pilfering 3-4 players each and every summer?
-
The reported figure will be "undisclosed" and papers will speculate with wildly different fees 50-70 We will never really know and when the financials eventually appear it will be alot lower than we thought as agents take a cut, players take some and previous clubs take a %. From a 50m sale we will be lucky to see 25-30m of it
-
Fine attitude if you're a shareholder or Kat. But we are fans of the football team not the financials I want the best players playing for SFC, couldnt give a **** if we have £100m saved in the bank. We make enough money from Sky, selling players every summer is ridiculous and pure greed from Les and Kat

Classic
-
Not if we keep selling players to our league rivals We will be stuck innthe 8-17 dreamland forever
-
If hes desperate to leave let him find a team overseas STOP SELLING PLAYERS TO OUR RIVALS!!!!!

PM me if you want to understand how averages work Burnley 38 shots Liverpool 0 Liverpool 0 Chelsea 0
-
TBF Puel has not nelivered on either.... Style or wins Hes averages 3 wins for every 10 games. And his style is horrendous
-
Another nice payday for Kat and LLL (Liverpool Lover Leslie)! I take it Les is a Liverpool fan - that was confirmed on here once before right?
-
This wouldn't be a Les appointment.... No chance Our best hope is the takeover is more advanced and they actually have ambitions. Sadly unlikely
