  1. Of course its made up. But £6m seems a decent guess. Puel was reported to be on £3m+ a season. Then you have Black and Pascal.... They dont work for free. Would cost alot to ditch Puel. Chuck St E a million and problems solved... Maybe
  2. If st etienne are genuinely interested in Puel perhaps we could give them money as an incentive? Say £1m? The alternative is to sack Puel and his backroom tean and pay up contracts. That could be North of £7m all in Take Puel and we will pay you 1-2m
  3. If he stays we can forget the "best of the rest" under Puel we will (best case) be same as the rest. Despite having a far superior squad
  4. Les has been sacked a few times but has he ever sacked anyone? Nigel was sacked by Nicola and Mopo, Paul Mitchell and Koeman left despite Les wanting them to stay..... Perhaps hes just sh*ting it and has gone away for a week to reflect.
  5. Just looked through some of your previous posts, nothing posted to support Mopo or Koeman. Just seems to be 10,000 posts criticising or name calling other posters? Difficult to know what your opinion is on anything. Care to share your thoughts just now maybe? See if you can go 25 posts without mentioning or quoting another poster... GO
  6. Is it just coincidence but those that seem to want Puel to stay also wanted Mopo out and Koeman out. Its almost like they just like to be "different" #justsayin
  7. Gentleman's agreement....
  8. Whats 2% of £240m?
  9. I imagine there is more to be made (for him) for selling academy players.... Explains why they are shoved into the shop window so keenly and why Koeman fell out with Reed as wasnt prepared to play his games. The immediate sales of Lallana, Shaw, Chambers as soon as he was in a position of power felt motivated.
  10. Lol i can see the MLG thread already Would be desperately disappointed to keep Puel and Black. Would simply be avoiding the inevitable and would cost us another season looking at the bottom of the table. Genuinely don't think i can watch many more of Puels "performances"
  11. They wish! Spurs are L2. See post #277
  12. No chance. Even Les Reed ain't that dumb
  13. What commission is Les Reed on? Genuine question
  14. Spurs have great players. Man C, Chelsea and Man United have more money than Spurs. Why dont they just take the great Spurs players?
  15. Thats true mate. Kinda worked out as Stephens has been great.
  16. ^ time to wake up MLG..... We will receive £150+ million for last seasons efforts, we are no longer "plucky little Saints" scrimping and saving. Weve also sold players last 4 summers and bought in £240m.... How much money do we need in the bank? When teams like AFCB can pay players like Defoe anf Terry mega money its time you start asking serious questions about out fetish for selling players EVERY summer. As before if our greedy players are so desperate to leave let there agents find them a club abroad.
  17. This. Pathetic how we bend over and take it so regularly. If players are desperate for more money and or to leave let them **** off abroad, STOP selling to our rivals. ****ing joke
  18. Monk is now bookies favourite at 5/6 Next up Silva then Ranieri and Emery
  19. Caceres (potentially) earn't £1.5 million for 90 minute of work
  20. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40046074 would be an excellent appointment - can bring Pontus Jansson with him if he likes
  21. Apparently Puel and Eric had an agreement from when Black played in France in 1990 (they had a mutual friend) So while you can respect Puels a man of his word you have to be pretty stupid to risk your job for a pinky promise made nearly 30 years ago. For a number of reasons Puel n Black need and will leave.
  22. I understand - however we've won a few games this season and I've not enjoyed the performance so much that its taken away from the victory.
  23. There was a few grumbles - but from maybe half a dozen people. In general most were fully behind Koeman when he finished 6th and 7th
  24. easily said when you don't go to games or watch games on TV (or streams weekly) - just the occasional look in the paper and "oh great we are 8th" 2014: Mopo finished 8th. Zero complaints about the league finish, some (incl me) annoyed about the FA cup team and performance. 2015: Koeman finished 7th. No complaints 2016: Koeman finish 6th. No complaints 2017: Puel finished 8th - lots of complaints as football was dreadful 7th was the highest anyone expected (see https://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?57444-Winning-quot-OUR-quot-league ) so no grumbles about finishing 8th. Its all about his horrendous style and that players don't like him
