I definitely lowered my expectations the minute Puel was appointed and tbf he hasnt let me down. The football has been as dull and pathetic as many of the Nice and Lyon fans warned us about. Thankfully his time may soon be up and ill expect us to be alot closer to the top 6 next season

I agree we (Reed) did F-up this summer and Reed is accountable for that. But we still have a decent squad and enough talent for Puel to be coaching and demanding better football. There are zero excuses for a large (large) number of horrendous performances this season A number of players are under performing with Puel. He simply isn't getting the best from his squad and chucking in 2 or 3 more top players is very unlikely to change that.

The Mane fee (30m) has been widely reported and was confirmed by Liverpool. I have not seen many reports of higher fees. The others I just found 2 or 3 reports for each and took the common reported fee. Was simply to highlight that comparatively we didn't do well on his fee. I don't have the full facts and neither do papers, hence the wild variations reported. If I posted the above as a fact I apologise was more just the reported totals. Perhaps I should have used a range. For example Benteke 30-35m

Reed has never been a winner. He was a complete laughing stock before his lucky break here. He has done well to continue the momentum built by Cortese but the bubble has burst and I have zero faith that Les can get us back on track. We will go one way now if Reed stays on. Leave this summer and he can retire with some small pride. Hes made millions here, go enjoy it Les. Get a Liverpool season ticket and have some holidays.
