I actually went to watch United v Palace yesterday (work invite) and was expecting to see United play similar to us given the various reports of dull play. What I noticed is that, like us they seem to favor the percentage stats and build this up with passes across the back 4, what they do differently however is the attacking. They defend as a team and attack as one too. There were a number of occasions where United had the ball wide and I counted 7 or 8 united players in or around the 18 yard box. So many times this season we have attacked teams on the break and will have maybe 2v6 in the box. Puel is so obsessed with the defending that only a few players now have the freedom to support our attacks. The irony is we haven't been great at defending and have conceded more this season than the last 3 seasons Goals against: 2017: 48 2016: 41 2015: 33 2014: 46

Surely wanting / demanding / expecting the best for my club and not settling for mediocrity is a positive fan attribute? Why would any "fan" be happy to play badly? When did; ambition / hope / passion = sh*t fan While accepting anything = superfan?

Tbf what else have the Puel in crew got? They are drowning and Puel really hasn't helped them. The only redeeming part of Puel is the 8th spot finish. So few "Puel in" peeps left now, suspect the last few just like to be different. Even MLG deserted the sinking ship

The clue is in the pre match music. Les will do it "my way" The more the fans are against Puel the more likely he'll keep him.... Just to show he's the boss. Think despite everything he will give him another season. Really hope im wrong

Puel has been under pressure for months but has shown no attempt to fight 4 wins in our last 18 games + the record breaking goal draught. Even rats go for the throat when trapped in a corner.... The 17 point drop from last season + The 32 point swing with Everton (Koeman) will pinch Reed. Puel has been a gamble too far and a quick change now in order.

It was fantastic to get to a cup final. But we blew it... . We had 15 days to prepare vs Man Us 3 days and we bodged it. The same people that say performances mean nothing... Boufal and Hojberg very disappointing. If they were the Wanyama and Mane replacements then its a massive fail. Both have shown glimpses so will be interesting to see how they perform under a different manager next season. Redmond - the striker "new Henry" experiment was a disaster and he still frustrates more than performs. For every good game he'll hace 2-3 bad ones. Gabbiadini started very well but now 8 games without a goal. He will be successful next season under the right management and playing style

Perhaps he didnt like Cortese as he thought he was keeping top players (Shaw, Lallana, Lovren, Lambert, Chambers, Morgan, Clyne ect) here against their will? Reed has simply released the poor prisoners
