  1. Completely agree with this. A lot of the posters on here would rather be negative, hoping that they'll get that "I told you so" moment rather than actually get behind their club and their team. The Skates posters take advantage of this to stir things up more - good sport for them since they've got no meaningful team of their own anymore.
  2. Wormtongue has crawled out of his lair
  3. Maybe but had zero effect on the game at that late stage. Full marks to MP for getting his tactics spot on. Proud of the team today.
  4. The body language experts are back. Lord help us !!! ...and for your information. no there's not a lot of truth to it on account of it being completely made up.
  5. Well worth listening to this week’s Saints FC podcast where they go to Staplewood and talk to Pellegrino. Gives a different perspective on what’s going on. I’m still far from convinced by Pellegrino but think we’re still very early in his tenure and don’t really see the point inreplacing him right now when we’re still a month away from the transfer window. Not sure his ideas have come to fruition yet but then again it’s difficult to clearly see where he’s heading with the team. Sacking him right now would seem to be a bit knee jerk when there doesn’t seem to be a decent alternative out there at the moment.
  6. Completely and utterly embarrassing in every way. As Matt Le Tiss pointed out in his response to this drivel, they couldn't even spell our owner's name correctly in an email addressed to him .... ... and it's only got 3 letters.
  7. Maybe now but there was a time when it was considerably more than spin. Sadly, we seem to have lost our way somewhat (which I think was Andy’s point) and the Southampton Way seems to have been adopted and become the Tottenham Way (wonder why)
  8. Ridiculous comment !! Citing Branfoot is the football equivalent of citing Hitler in a political debate. Completely over the top. He’s undoubtedly been disappointing thus far but nowhere near the nightmare that was Ian Branfoot. The hyperbole on Saintsweb gets ridiculous at times (pretty much always actually)

  10. Surely much more naive to believe the mongs on here who push the line that all the good signings were Konman’s and all the poor ones were down to Les. Mane went from a Les signing after his first 10 games to a Ronald one once he started to play well. Anyhow, if Konman is so great at signing players then how come he spunked all Everton’s money up the wall or was that Les’s fault as well ?
  11. Massively overrated manager who was lucky enough to have some big talents (Mane and Lukaku) in top form that papered over his failings. Has finally got found out. Those who would have him back need their heads examined.
  12. Steve Claridge on 5 Live reckoned Everton are the worst team he's seen all season. Gave them 3/10 and predicted they'll be in trouble this season.
  13. We're only 4 points short of a Champions League place. Get a grip !!!
  14. I assume from the title this is the Ronald Koeman thread ?
  15. Everton lost yet again last night. Maybe Ronald Konman isn't as good a coach as the rose-tinted glasses on here would have us believe.
  16. ..... which called your thread “ridiculous”. Well done. You must be very proud. Peak of your trolling career I’d imagine.
  17. Everton's next 6 games should see them on course for the top 4 then, just like Jose says.

    Koeman

    Just trying to fit in.
  19. If you pop over to the Koeman thread you'll discover that it's way too early in the season to judge a manager ...... apparently.

    Koeman

6 of them, yet to record a win and have conceded 12 goals in their last 3 games. Still much too early to comment on beloved Ronald when there's slaughtering of our own manager to be done

    Koeman

But Everton have spent money and SHOWN SOME AMBITION FFS !!! They've bought Siggurdson, Morgan and Rooney, they've got a squad full of players with Premiership experience, not bang average ones, bang average I tell you !!! They've got Leicester's old head scout, not a stupid Les Reed black box. They're near the top of the net spend table, not bottom. They've got Koeman FFS, the greatest manager we've ever had, EVER, not a bang average Les Yes man. All these WUMs who say that Everton are virtually out of Europe and are currently sitting in the relegation zone need a brain transplant. They're probably reading the table upside down or something.
  22. Absolutely. He stood firm when all the expects were predicting that VVD was certain to go and even a considerable number of our own fans were bizarrely urging him to. Well played Les. I hope this puts to bed the ridiculous, completely unwarranted criticism he's received from certain quarters in the past couple of years but somehow I doubt it.
  23. Absolutely this. Complete set of cry-babies on here, wetting their knickers about everything, no matter what the club does.
  24. But I thought our centre backs were supposed to not be premier league quality.
  25. Much better to go for a strategy of spending a load of cash on proven premiership players like Sunderland or West Ham have done. That seems to be much lower risk than our 'lucky' approach.
