  1. "Kevin Friend (born 8 July 1971)[2] is a c.unt who also happens to be a fan of Liverpool; based in Liverpool. He is a member of the [Merseyside County Football Association]]." Friend's Wiki page already, ha.
  2. If anyone's responsible, it's Davis, failing to move into the space Wanyama had vacated (I'd want to see it again before attributing too much blame though).1
  3. Easily the worst officiating we've experienced this season. I simply cannot countenance some of these decisions. It's fu-ck-ing mind boggling.
  4. Cheers - I'll be sure to watch it later
  5. Hey, it's Thevman! Canny believe Lovren is starting - here's to hoping Mane/Elia exploit his head being elsewhere.
  6. For what reason?
  7. Which tweet, please? P.S Deserves any stick he receives, of course.
  8. Whilst I'm worried as much of the rest of you about our ability to score, in last three games we've played two teams (Swansea, West Ham) who have sat deep. This stifles our ability to counter (a hindrance to both Mane and Elia...duh), which means we're relying on an out-of-form Pelle to hold the ball up/win crosses - not working. However, I'm confident that against attacking teams, Mane and Elia will become a goal-scoring threat again. As long as the defense holds up, we'll still be able to beat the teams around us (that said, we've plenty of games against opposition who will likely sit-deep and counter themselves).
  9. Best performance I've seen from him. More expressive with his passing, etc, etc - perhaps he was playing on confidence gained from being picked ahead of JWP...as opposed to being slotted in when injuries hit.
  10. He certainly did. The key word in Austsaint's post is "remember" - people make a habit of forming an opinion based on their memory, rather than the facts (as I am often guilty of, no doubt). He has 6 assists (in spite of missing a large portion of the season)...and yet people seem to be claiming that he doesn't assist from set-pieces or open-play :S
  11. Jack Colback is neither quick or strong, but he's a Premier League-standard midfielder. Point being, someone of comparable physical frame found himself in an England squad. As for the criticism of his set-piece delivery above, the mind boggles - he near as damn it had a set-piece assist on Saturday, and I can recall his assist against Crystal Palace (Alderweireld's goal).
  12. Newcastle away (excluding one FA cup tie)
  13. It wasn't a clear foul at all (in my opinion)...Forster was lucky there. (I want to see it again though).
  14. Toby, followed by Morgan.
  15. This.
  16. If Forster comes, he has to claim. Only on SaintsWeb...
  17. Forster at fault, fo' sure. (Assuming he didn't make the call, of course)
  18. Several players in midfield need to accept more responsibility when moving forward. Davis has had the opportunity to run the line several times and has decided to check back in. Perhaps that's the price we pay for being so defensively sound (i.e. unwilling to vacate his position).
  19. Phil Dowd doing his best impression of a United player.
  20. Neanderthals...
  21. That is simply indefensible from Forster. He did nothing.
  22. Not only that, he's specifically taking them from he right side of the pitch (i.e. outswinging). And vice-verse for Tadic :S
  23. Fonte. With Clyne a close second.
