Halalua, I'm cured!! Regrads Saint Billy

I have never considered I have OCD but I do have these little foibles. When I cut the lawn it has to be a certain way that leaves nice tidy stripes. If my mrs decides to cut it in here normal haphazard way it really angers me until I go over what she has done to somewhat rectify it. Sometimes after leaving the house and getting into the car I will have to return to check if I have locked the door, then get to the car and have to go back again to double check. I dont do this every time but it seems to happen more when I am stressed. I do the pocket thing mentioned earlier, constantly checking my pockets when out and double checking for keys ,wallet, ciggys etc. Weird thing is that I dont do this when I am with my mrs. Another one is typos when on the computer, I always spell "regards" wrong and always have to correct it, I always spell it as "regrads". I know I do this but I cannot stop the habit or whatever it is. Woof,woof!

That made me larf. If nothing else works, system restore back to before problem, that may do it.

I think the Iceland advert with Jason Donovan making a right t i t of himself is getting my blood pressure rising now. God that annoying music, a mixture of the Can Can and a T Rex rift, advertising food that looks like it has been scraped off the pavement is driving me insane. I'm a celeb has got a lot to answer for, as that is the time every year that Iceland bless us with their cheap tacky adverts using has been and meaningless celebs to advertise their pig swill which continues all through Dec until the new year. Ahhhhhhhhhh

I am definately a grumpy old man and proud of it and agree with almost everything those guys say. Even my grandson calls me grumpy instead af grampy. The older I get the more I hate what this world is turning into. A life as a hermit is increasingly becoming more appealing.

In truth I am getting a bit sick of reading and hearing that line. It is abundantly clear that we do not have the best team in this league, even on paper. Perhaps we have the most expensive team assembled in this league but footballing history shows that means jack, which is proven by our current league form and position.

I dont get that myself. To be fair, we have had a few rusty performances, and when have we been relentlessly winning? I might be wrong but I dont think we have gone more than 4 straight wins on the trot. Again, we are far too inconsistent to win this league, we may scrape into the playoffs but which saints side will turn up in the playoff final is another matter.

I suppose we are building up to our normal xmas form. Depressed!

At the end of yet another dismal season the escuse will be that it was not my side, but next season I will have a team that I have put together and then a few weeks into the season we will sack him, and so the merry go round continues.

Yeh you could well be right there. The other thought I had was that he may be a Rooney type, not in style but in his inability to get himself out of a rut. Rooney has only just started showing signs of getting it back together in his game at the weekend against Blackburn, a loss of form that he has been in since the World cup. A long lay off under the disguise of injury is the only thing that has started his recovery and perhaps this is the only way we can ever hope of seeing the real RL again.

Agreed, a mass oversight as far as I'm concerned. And how come Lambert's dismal form has been ignored until now is another one that I cannot understand.

Basically then, injuries and still too many players out of form which tells me that the squad has to be improved in Jan if we are going to have any chance of promotion.
