  1. In that case, I have just fondued myself.
  2. Funny really, what some would have perceived as boycotters last season could have been just plain lack of cash. It will be interesting to see if other clubs are seeing a downturn. On the positive, if a popular choice of manager ia announced it will help sway some who were deciding between season tickets and just paying on the day.
  3. Oh please!
  4. Get me, I've got a season ticket you have not, I've got more money than yow. Gm, bothered!
  5. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/4490381.Henderson_aims_to_mix__n__match_at_Cheltenham/?ref=rss Not sure that this is the right way to go about it. IMo opinion I would prefer to start seeing the best 11 playing together. I know that we will have a few new players coming in but I think we should start preparing with our first choice as it is at the moment. Yes Ajax is a friendly on saturday, but it would be nice to put on some sort of show for ML, but the way it is going, that will be the first time any resemblance of the first team would have played together.
  6. GM, If I happen to sit behind you I would be complaining that a big ego is blocking my view.
  7. Good on ya brother!
  8. Can I hold fire on responding to this DP until a manager has been announced!
  9. I am almost as nervous as I was before the takeover was announced regarding the possibilty of Tony Adams getting the job. Everywhere I look on the web his name is coming up first as most likely manager of sfc.
  10. Orient have recently earned a spanking!
  11. Agreed! icing on top of the cake for me.
  12. Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink
  13. Sensible really unless it is Tony Adams.
  14. Oh! Come on Andy, don't even go near Tony Adams, as a manager he sucks!!!!!!!!!
  15. Tony Adams is only being linked because of betting odds. Come on guys, the new owners of this club have only had control for a couple of days and already they are demonstrating forward thinking, there is no way they would be put a failure in management in control of the team.
  16. Gulp! http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/mostpopular.var.2519215.mostviewed.exceltic_boss_gordon_strachan_playing_down_any_return_to_management.php
  17. Wasn't Coppell seen at a game at St Mary's after we went into admin?
  18. It still has not sunk in that a certain someone will no longer return to this club and feck things up.
  19. Apparently we are back up for sale again, keep it going guys!! I have heard a little rumour from a close source that Roger Whittaker is planning a bid...................fact!
  20. I might be totally wrong but GS strikes me as the sort of guy whose life is'nt totally governed by the razzle dazzle side of football. He comes across as a down to earth type of guy who loves his family and privacy more than he does his football. There was a rumour that his wife did not want to move back to scotland and enjoyed living in the south and they still have a property here. For those reasons I think it is possible that he might consider coming back here to manage. Perhaps with the financial backing of the new owner, a fanbase that in the main loves him, a home here, it might be enough to temp him. Then again, pompey might even be more of a temptation because it still ticks some of his boxes. Is he the right man I'm not sure, although he got the squad fit, was passionate, called a spade a spade, stabilised the club, some of the football was grim at times, 2003 cup final comes to mind.
  21. We are no longer on the slide so need for Klinsmann.
  22. Funny that, I actually thought that when fit Holmes looked really useful!
  23. Thank feck for that!
  24. I am not even going to guess, these guys have a mind of their own and seem to be pulling out all the stops to get things sorted. Only one day into their reign and I am already comfortable with the way things are going.
  25. I'm not that keen either
