No brainer for me, yes he makes some gaffs but he does also equal it out with some moments of quality ie his assist for Redmond on Saturday. Plus we do seem to play better when he is playing.

Damn good win that against a side that can grind out results. All three goals were class and I thought Theos assist was class. Theo was obviously struggling for fitness and Ings was puffing a bit but It did give us a lift having them both back. Shame we didn't capitalise when we caught them on the break numerous times but overall a good win and an entertaining game which I wasn't expecting.

Play like West Brom yesterday and I'll be a happy man.

How the hell did Sam get them to do that?. This is one crazy season.

To be honest, that applies to a few of them.

Thats when high press works.

Yes, just took a terrible corner and the commentator said it was a shot at goal and very close, which it wasn’t.

God, another game that stretches my powers of endurance.

Close call between all the three mentioned above.

Great player, great character and sublime skills to boot. Only with us for a short while but provided great entertainment at the Dell and raised the roof an many occasions. RIP the working mans George Best.

Southampton 0-1 Leicester - Match Thread

I don't get this "It's a one off game, anyone can win". Isn't every game a one off?. They are a good side and we will have to play out of our skin to beat them. -
Well I hope one of these big clubs is fool enough to pay us big bucks for him because he is no good to us being in and out of the side with injuries. The likes of Man City can afford to have a player on the sidelines for half a season, we definitely can't. He kept us up last season but hasn't been the same player since with injuries and his head being elsewhere, so him going is probably going to benefit us more than how it is at the moment.

Leicester looked impressive, we will really have to be at our very best and more to beat them. -
For once Redmond showed what he has under the bonnet. Definitely man of the match with Armstrong a close second. Redmond is a frustrating player who has so much ability but only uses it when his head allows him. Hopefully this game will boost his confidence so that he can finish the season on a high. Well done saints, that was a bit more like early season, just keep it going against tougher opposition.

Evans help us?

Is he good Evans?

Would there be an uproar if he was interviewed on tv after the game and said the same thing?. Luke Shaw's comment on the other hand is totally disrespectful to the club that gave him his opportunities in football and which basically says alot about him and his brain capacity.

Simon Jordan wouldn't be the worst shout as long as he has some serious backers. As long as he doesn't keep saying "Narrative" all the time like he does on Talk Sport.

before his injury Vestergaard was picking out dangerous long passes to the forward line at will and causing lots of problems. Apart from the odd long pass he has now settled back into the sideways and backwards pass. Is this under instruction or have they lost the confidence to pick out a player now?, or is it that the forward line are not working now to find the spaces?. Something is wrong but you would of thought that the coaching staff would know but apparently not. Personally I think another 9 goals against us in one match has totally killed all confidence and now they are all running scared, oddly enough, with no confidence they all seem to be trying to play the safe ball which more often than not is intercepted by the opposition anyway, so even that is not working.
