As others have said,game of two halves - during the majority of the second 45 Bournemouth had little penetration - lots of huff and puff, but nothing really to blow the house down. It had shades of the Villa game last season, where Saints just sat back and went into cruise control for the 2nd half. Today Saints had one attack, and with a slightly better final ball it would have 3-0. Bournemouth need to beat the teams around them, and try to match those that finished in the bottom half last year to survive. With a fully fit squad, they are significantly better than Villa, Sunderland and Newcastle, and on a par at least with Watford and Norwich. It would seem that Murray and Ritchie need to score the majority of the goals needed to achieve this, which is a tough ask but by no means impossible.
