  1. David Gower, Ian Botham, and possibly Mikey Holding are all not having their contracts renewed following the end of the Ashes - Sky want, for some reason unbeknown to the human race, want to push Test failure Ian Ward up to be the new anchor.
  2. Maybe sales would be limited to season ticket holders only anyway, or should it go beyond that, those that have a proven sales record that stretches back a minimum of x amount of years?
  3. Papers over the cracks somewhat - without the sending off I've no doubt Saints would have conceded at least once. With any luck, Bertrand is back next week and Danso to start CB. Not complaining though
  4. Certainly noticeable when he wasn't on the mic, which is a good indication of how much "influence" he had on the matchdays.
  5. Those chaps on Talksport said on their midnight show that they are looking forward to analysing a "comfortable and emphatic Liverpool win" on Friday night/Saturday morning....
  6. He just looks like a pantomime dame to me, and one without eyebrows.
  7. Charlie Nicholas was watching Brighton/Saints and in traditional fashion suddenly shouted "GOOAALLLLL!" An arm started waving hysterically, visible to the extreme left of the screen, gave a small clue which way it had gone.....

    Injury Watch

Play at Brighton for 90 mins, then have two weeks off (Liverpool), perfect recovery!

    Bad referees

Mike Dean would get the squad number 1.
  10. Shambles! Yet survived this time!
  11. Gunn, Cedric, Ramsay, Slattery, Gallagher, Elyonoussi and Sims will all probably start, Ward Prowse too orr Armstrong... Hoijberg comes back in surely on Saturday so one of those will sit it out on the bench?
  12. I know it was a heart attack waiting to happen - but did McCarthy actually have a save to make at 2-1? Nothing comes to mind.... that emphasises the defensive strength today!
  13. Hopefully this will help raise the profile of the Club to potential signings, in that there is quality there already to get out of trouble, and progress next season.
  14. I'd make those 11 dopes start the replay. Still PEH will be back for Everton now.
  15. Clear as day there has at last been a tactical influence to the team... 3-4-3 switching to/from 5-2-3 when defending makes a lot of difference and gives an escape/outball when the ball breaks.
  16. 18m wasted on a defender that has (excuse the FM reference) zero concentration, anticipation and pace.

    Mary Saint

Never mind the mascots, what a farce the half time entertainment has become.... Bring back the relay, where we can enjoy a guaranteed slip, dropped catch or missed sitter
  18. No, they'll be fit, focused and raring to go, after a good week of positive training.
  19. Nope. Is out of the next League game... bookings are now competition specific.
  20. Yes it was. Perhaps he was basing his dive on Moss not being unable to keep up with play due to his Phil Dowd-esque physique and give it from a distance.
  21. If Long had connected with that rebound in 1st half injury tine, it might have been different... only if it had gone in of course.

    Right Back

Can never fathom why he continuously seems to cut in, and cross with his weaker foot....?
  23. Gunn Bedernek Stephens Yoshida JWP Armstrong Romeu/Hoijberg Davis Targett Austin Gabbi From the players not used today.
  24. Thanks - still the same this morning... indeed from memory I think the scheduled delivery date was today when I ordered..... hmmph.
