You talk as though Boruc had a poor injury record last season when the only games he missed were due to the broken hand he got at Chelsea. If Forster breaks his hand he'll be out for the same length of time regardless of being younger.

Need to get support to Pelle much quicker than we did at times yesterday. Would be nice if Long comes back to haunt his old club, pretty sure he scored the winner for Hull when they played West Brom last season.

Completely agree though clubs like Saints don't pay £10M for a keeper and not have them as first choice. Don't think Forster would've come if he hadn't be told that he'd be number 1.

Wollscheid has a couple of German caps I think. Worth a punt on a loan with option to buy deal you would think.

At some point we're going to have to replace both Jos and Yoshida as I can't imagine either is currently happy with being 3rd / 4th choice. If Yoshida doesn't get playing time in the 1st half of the season I'd be surprised if he didn't ask for a move in January. In reality players should want to play!

Possibly not prepared to pay over the odds for a player in the last year of his contract. Maybe we've sounded out his agent and we'll end up signing him for nothing next summer or for a reduced fee in January?
