  1. To a certain extent I agree with you but our current run cannot be allowed to continue indefinitely. If we continue to lose games how long do you leave it before making a change? Don't want RK to go but there's no sentiment in football.
  2. Has he ever been asked in an interview whether he fears for his job? Considering our run I be surprised if he hadn't but can't recall any mention of such a question in the media.
  3. No way we'll sack RK and have a replacement in the dugout before Wednesday.
  4. Have we been unlucky in every game we've lost? I've always been of the opinion that you make your own luck, blaming bad luck for a run of 8 defeats in 10 smacks of buck passing.
  5. No matter which way you look at it the results haven't been good enough, I presume you'd agree with that? I take zero pleasure in saying it but if results don't improve then RK will be sacked, simple as that. A manager lives and dies by results and at present their poor. I don't want RK to go but our current run cannot continue indefinitely. I'd be suprised if it hasn't already been discussed at board level.
  6. I agree, he is. I just don't understand how we went through the summer transfer window, signed 2 right backs and then play an out of position Yoshida over both of them in various games. If both Soares and Martina were injured then fair enough but showing a preference for Yoshida suggests to me that we signed the wrong players in the first place.
  7. Not certain that's true, especially as an out of position centre back as been preferred to both him and Martina in various games this season.
  8. Realistically, what £25m player could we have replaced Morgan with that would've wanted to come here? Sadly we're not in a position where we can buy that level of player, they simply don't want to come here. I wish it wasn't the case but it is!
  9. Given our current form you can't say that we're not. The attitude from some on here that we don't need to be worried as those below us are to crap to catch up smacks of arrogance and burying their head in the sand.
  10. Was that his bird standing just to the left of him?
  11. I don't have a problem with the ball being passed sideways so long as the player who passes sideways then moves forward to receive it. To often this season a player has passed sideways and just stood there like a statue. Pass and then move into space, that's how you get into space and break through the oppositions lines. All IMO of course...
  12. I'll no doubt be called a WUM and told he can't get into Swansea's team but I wish Jack Cork was still here. No way he'd have downed tools the way Wanyama has.
  13. Can't help but think that we're mirroring Swansea a tad. They had that great start to the season but then went on a run of 4 points from 12-13 games (I think). We're 1 point from the last 5 league games plus that thrashing from Liverpool in the league cup. For me parting with Koeman now seems laughable but if the run continues and we repeat Swansea's run then we may have to think the un-thinkable, no matter how unpalatable. Lets hope things turn!
  14. Thing is I don't really have a problem with that so long as the player who passes the ball sideways then moves forward to receive it. Recently we're just so slow in moving the ball and everyone is so static. Pass then move forward to receive the ball!
  15. As I said elsewhere, does the the 'P' in JWP stand for passenger or powderpuff?
  16. Surely we cannot be as bad as that on Sunday?
  17. Well said Monk. As bad as tonight was at least I wasn't there to see it live!
  18. If we're going to continue playing long ball ****e then we might as well get Nolan in...would be perfect for that system.
  19. Why didn't Soares start tonight? From what I've seen of him and Martina, Soares would be much better suited to playing the wing back role.
  20. Does the 'P' in JWP stand for passenger or powderpuff?
  21. Part of the reason the midfield isn't involved is the fact that the ball is almost always 30 ft above their heads!
  22. Can't disagree with that though unlike Vic I do have the ability to hand in my notice and then leave after 3 months if I so wish.
  23. Agree with this completely. I hope we do sign him but as I said previously it's a tall ask for him to step straight into the team and be as good as Toby was.
  24. The exact quote was that 'Southampton must have more money than sense' and 'he's a thoroughbred in the SPL but when up he's been up against clever attacking players in Europe he's been found wanting'. I've got family in Glasgow and they've all said the same thing tbf, undoubtedly has good ability and potential but he's nowhere near the finished article. I think he'll be a good addition but to expect him to go straight into the side and pick up where Toby left off is a huge ask IMO.
  25. Struggled not to fall asleep during the match at Vicarage Road, not a great advert for the most exciting league in the world!
