In light of what's gone on this summer everything you've written seems plausible. However, I don't see how we could have been messing about with the fee for Caulker as the terms of his release clause were quite clear: when a bid of £xM comes in then he can go and discuss personal terms. Why would be trying to offer a lower amount than the release clause? If true, ******** madness.
