Somehow got in with an expected time of 4 minutes and got my extra ticket I needed. Keep waiting, people will give up, tickets will get released back in. Good luck!

As above, definitely not Brighton. Went to their game at home to Cardiff two weeks ago and my god it was THE worst atmosphere I have ever witnessed in a professional football ground, truly dreadful. Just a ground full (well, not full, half empty) of neutrals like myself with no songs and no banter. Awful. Also bang average side with a good front line. Newcastle, Huddersfield, Leeds for me. Sheffield Wednesday would be fine too.

I can only imagine how low the uptake is going to be for memberships at the start of next season! Just wait until there's a game you really want 'priority' for and buy one then, and if we don't get to a cup final you've saved yourself £25!

Great post for anyone that missed it - surely the threr in bold are crying out for a Tadic, Bertrand and Gabbiadini number. Nothing major with multiple verses but a better quick and easy singalong chant than the white stripes one being sung about every player on our books. Edit: Also think (if the link works, if not it's 'Follow The Leader') would be great for Maya Yoshida. Chelsea used to do it for Florent Malouda but arguably Maya Yoshida fits better.

I would imagine most people on 4 and even 3 purchased tickets for Arsenal/West Ham to get up to 5, so could well see slow sales. Got a membership on 2 that i'd like to buy for so hopefully it gets to that!

Hesketh, Boufal and Clasie have all scored their first goals for the club in our run to this final, so i'm going with a Cedric, Stephens, Sims or Hojbjerg winner! Also think JWP finally is well worth his place in the team for our next game, would love him to really make a name for himself in the final.

The difference yesterday was someone who can score. All season i've been saying we are not that 'boring' but we can't put it in the net, which obviously is key in terms of entertainment. Yesterday I didn't see us playing any differently to many games this season, the difference is a striker who can make good runs and can finish. Goals = exciting. Quality up front = goals.

Wonder if we'll set up like we did against Liverpool, as in sit deep and soak it all up hoping for a counter attack. Their attacking quality suggests we may, but they're not as vulnerable defensively so one and two man attacks may not have the desired effect like it did at Anfield. Will be interesting.

It always feels like Bertrand should be the next one to leave for some reason, and yet I have this feeling that he's actually more loyal than would be suspected. Could he be one that actually sticks around for a bit? Surely his quality would've been recognised by other clubs by now.

I must say I can't agree. His form was hit and miss last season but I could never fault his workrate, which is one of the attributes that I think separates him from other good players. Hazard for example is fantastic, but doesn't bring exceptional workrate, as many extremely talented players don't. Mane, even when not at his best last season, was normally one of the hardest workers on the pitch in my opinion.
-
Said to my brother before Mane left that he'll be top 6/7 players in the world within 3 years, phenomenal player, never seen a player stop dead and beat a player so easily.
-
Puel should've scored that
-
Yeah sorry that probably came across wrong looking back at it - I meant i'd encourage Hojbjerg to look elsewhere because i don't think he's very good!
-
I think JWP has finally justified his play the last couple of games, partly due to the competition being so poor but also he's actually done something in a few games
-
As most of us predicted, lack of games means lack of rotation, so will the players finally take some responsibility if they play **** today or will it all be about Puel again?
-
I'd encourage him to
-
He's also scored 7 of those goals in two games (3 vs. Sunderland and 4 vs. Bournemouth), so doesnt account for the long dry spells he goes through where he looks like he can't be arsed until the ball arrives at his feet. He really isn't elite level.
-
I agree with you on his effort, I have been very impressed with how often I see someone come out of nowhere to knick the ball back and see it's Boufal
-
Virg. Never seen someone so cool on the pitch, love it when he shrugs off a complete ***** like Sturridge without breaking sweat. Romeu close second, but got time for a few of the names mentioned like Long and Bertrand, seem like genuinely nice blokes.

As was I! Third row from the back to be precise, and didn't think it was too bad either.
-
I was surprisingly impressed by Gabbiadini as a centre forward on Saturday
-
He wouldn't be the first player to be riddled with injuries at a big club(s) and then find fitness at a smaller club where the pressure is much less, like Wilshere for example.
-
I'm fairly sure Betrand has a medal after playing the final, not sure about Romeu. Hojbjerg has a medal too I believe. So we'd have 4 (if Romeu has one).
-
You've clearly changed your source because a couple of weeks ago you said how the cup hindered Bradford and they came 18th! They got promoted that season, winning 4-1 in the play-offs I think. I was at their cup final game funnily enough. It wouldn't surprise me if we are holding back, we were exceptional in both leagues of the semi-final, which shows what we are capable of.
