Guided Missile

A few years ago I attended a BBC 606 (remember that?) meet up at the Old Ship in Swanwick. Luckily I wasn't easily recognisable, thanks to the old photo I use online, when I looked hot. A couple of the posters that attended, I knew, from "real life" and were the normal type you would expect. One of the female Saints fans (she knows who she is) later left her husband to begin an affair with one of the Pompey posters, a chef from Widley. I had figured this out during a drunken late night supper after the event at my house, (when they told me they were staying at the same hotel) . Two nice people, but one of the other posters from Pompey tagged along. A very weird guy and whilst in my kitchen, he grabbed my son's laptop and attempted to show his favourite porn sites to us at the kitchen table. I had been earlier unsettled, by a poster in the pub, I reckoned to be about 35-40 years of age, on finding out my online identity, latched onto me and attempted to show me, wide-eyed and breathlessly, his Panini sticker collection that he had brought along with him. In summary, most posters are from the wide range of society you would expect football fans to be, apart from a disturbingly high percentage of weirdos. The lesson for me was never to reveal where you live and always meet up in a public place. The second lesson was only to attend these events if you are desperately short of friends and have no other way to make them. Me? I have too many friends and am currently carrying out a "cull". F***!ng spongers, the lot of them....

Let's get this right for any other Americans, (a country I love and respect, BTW). We, the English, speak English, no accent. Everyone else speaks English with an accent. I include the Welsh and the Scots in that.... So, don't say we speak English with an accent, please....

Apparently the reconstructive surgery involving a graft from his patellar tendon, has not taken and may require further surgery. Each time that happens reduces the chances of him playing again. I just hope I'm wrong. A tragedy for a very talented young player.

No one in the media has summed up how I feel about the climate debate better than Matt Ridley in the Times this morning, here. I'm more worried about a comet strike than climate change. You should be too, unless you rely on research funding on proving there is something to worry about. If so, get a proper job, FFS....

What's clear about that post? Dissemble randomly??? When you start writing English, I may be able to post a witty rejoinder, but the rabbit droppings that you regularly post make that impossible. Face it, you're embarrassing yourself now....

That sequence increases the probability that you, and countless other tax payers, will continue to blindly swallow all the bu££$!t the so-called environmental scientists publish, in order to spend your money on their pointless research. Sucker....

Some of the more enlightened football fans amongst us foresaw the current scenario back in June, here.

Most Jock's are always complaining, normally about how unfair life is, (in fact they complain about everything), but when it comes time for them to stump up any money, to make things better, they will, as usual, have short arms and long pockets. They will realise that in the ballot box, a yes vote will be the same as an open cheque, made out to pie face and I just can't, on the day, see them doing it. Mind you, I'd love to get rid of them. If they want to live in an economic powerhouse with a GDP slightly bigger than Bangladesh, then let them take the low road, while we take the high road....

Sorry, guys, but I have yet to see any blame at all levelled at the parents of these unfortunate children. Am I alone in thinking that they may have been in the best position to know about what their young girls were up to, or am I wrong and every one of these kids was in care?

There are some fantastic new food items to sample, including our locally-sourced premium hot dog, the top-quality Hampshire hog roast, traditional jacket potatoes and nachos with a range of toppings. Alternatively we'll also have mobile sellers making their way around the stadium bowl offering hot and cold drinks, confectionery, hot dogs and ice cream so you needn't even leave your block when you need refreshment. Oink, oink....

Migrants who cannot speak English well or not at all find it impossible to integrate in this country and are more likely to be in receipt of benefits and unable to find work. Both political parties see the command of our language the biggest barrier to the integration of the vast number of migrants Labour allowed into the country. It could also explain why many of the 785,000 and their dependants are alienated from our society and a small percentage of these are radicalised. Let me know if you have trouble understanding the point and I will draw you a picture....

In the 2011 census, 850,000 people in the UK were unable to speak English. I'd call that a failure to integrate...
