Take off their orange gowns and what do they look like? How many other religions do you know where some people identify them by physical features? If someone of the Jewish persuasion and aren’t wearing orthodox clothing and don’t have hooked noses, how do you identify them? What on earth would you find to say about them if they all had pretty little turned up noses?

I wonder what nationality were those standing back and taking pictures?

“Part of the problem” is people like you and Duckie who profess to not like who Johnson is but will vote for him to lead the country anyway. You also both happily relate anything that promotes your agendas but when someone else does, funnily enough, you criticise them.

Disagree with me? I have nothing to do with outsourcing Government work and was just relating a tale of something which could potentially tie up millions of £s. Because how can you look like a religion? As has already been stated, there is a “look” that has been used to denigrate Jewish people for centuries. You get that surely? I have been to France several times in the last couple of years and cannot tell a French person from any other European, but that is just a race thing anyway. Perhaps you can explain wha a Protestant or a Catholic or a Buddhist looks like?

I met an old friend for lunch yesterday. He has recently retired after working for HMRC all his life. He specialised in VAT. The Government have outsourced the handling of VAT to a private company. At the moment they are handling the simple and straightforward VAT cases with HMRC still dealing with the more complex cases. He says that the other company are not capable of handing the highly complex cases and that the expectancy is that there will be a major **** up when they take on all of the VAT jobs. Watch this space.

Can you imagine the uproar if Jeremy Corbyn talked about “Jewish noses?”

We had a class on religious differences back in the late 60’s where the teacher told us that Jews “had big noses.” He was being deadly serious. Remember we are talking about a religion here, not a race. If I was in a room of people I would have no idea what their individual religions were, would you? I assume a certain poster here would by the size of their nose. By the way, my nose is probably bigger than average but guess what, I am not Jewish.

The same person posted that Jewish people have certain physical similarities. It could almost be Boris Johnson, Tommy Robinson or Katie Hopkins posting.

We were just down the road in The Globe Theatre when it all kicked off. Typical Londoners just carried on as usual.

Are you serious? What hypocrisy? Justice ran its course in every case and whether you, I or anybody else agrees with the verdict or not is not the issue. Johnson just on TV saying that he has never lied, but he might have got some things wrong.

That is what has been most sickening about the campaign for me so far. Johnson seems to get away with things time and again that you just know if Corbyn did or said them, he would be pulled to pieces. Whatever you think of Corbyn’s beliefs, he clearly cares. The only thing that Johnson cares about is himself. If you cast a vote for Johnson it is no different to voting for Trump. What do you want? A fairer society or 5 years of a childish narcissist feeding his ego whilst the country goes further down the toilet?

He has faced justice and he was been found not guilty. Whatever we think of the verdict, justice has run its course. He has had to live with it and will have to live with it for the rest of his life though and if he has any vestige of a conscience that cannot be easy.

Whatever you think of the verdict, it is shameful that it took so long to get to this point.
