  1. It’s ok, he never said any of that.
  2. Conjecture on your part. They will have to go some to feck the country up more than Cameron, May and Johnson have and are currently doing.
  3. So why hasn’t he? (Ok, we all know the answer to that question, he can do what the feck he likes and not face the consequences)
  4. Damned if they do, damned if they don’t. We expect a reaction after what happened and this is part of that reaction. Why wouldn’t they publicise it?
  5. If training doesn’t matter why bother with it? Of course it matters. If he has “favourites” I assume it is because those players put the effort into training and take on board his instructions. Do you really think that any manager would constantly pick players who put in no effort during the week? Sadly we seem to have a bunch of players who crumble at the slightest set back and don’t have the will to fight, especially at home. If players are not performing weekly it makes you wonder what the others are like if they don’t get selected.
  6. Katie Hill resigns but Trump remains as POTUS. Different rules and standards for Donald?
  7. I don’t disagree, which is why we usually end up with **** poor Governments and leaders who should be nowhere near power.
  8. What’s even more depressing is that people worry about Corbyn becoming PM in an era when we have had Blair, Brown, Cameron, May and Johnson. Can he really be that much worse than this bunch?
  9. So there was a crowd funding page to raise £10,000 for the death of Gina Miller. Jo Cox has already lost her life to one of these nutters. What is it about some Brexiteers who think this is remotely ok?
  10. We are not miles adrift but it all depends on how we deal with that defeat. We can only hope that it will galvanise the squad and they dig in and show some backbone.
  11. What are you talking about?
  12. Trump’s comments yet again show what an appalling human being he is. He is a coward. He bottled it when it came to serving his country and he has the temerity to say that someone else died like a dog and a coward. What a total ****.
  13. What he sees that we don’t see is the players training all week. I am not saying you are wrong, but he is a very experience manager and must have reasons for making his team selections.
  14. He makes good points though.
  15. Yet Theresa May had no charisma. Granted she won by a whisker, but she still won. Corbyn does appeal to the younger voters. I know it is not the case, but it really should be about policies and not personalities. We really need policies “for the many not for the few.”
  16. I would rather Labour (with the LibDems) than the Tories. There is so much to undo like the dreadful Universal Credit that like him or not, Corbyn will sort out.
  17. It starts with talking. Wasn’t he vilified as being an IRA supporter for talking to Sinn Fein?
  18. Probably because talking to Unionists was less problematic maybe?
  19. I’d rather be pitifully thick than insufferably arrogant. You are entitled to your view about Corbyn and his role in the peace process as are others. I don’t agree that he had nothing to do with it whatsoever. If he didn’t why are we even discussing his dialogue with Sinn Fien? He was talking to them before others joined in, hence the grief he attracted.
  20. Since when has peace been against the national interest. Everyone involved in the peace process deserves credit. I am not a Labour supporter but the vilification of Corbyn by the right wing media (as well as the vilification of the EU) has been appalling over the last few years. We now have a PM worthy of some heavy duty criticism and guess what, he is given an easy ride.
  21. I agree. If there has been a falling out between Gao and Kat that shouldn’t make any difference to passing a football or putting in tackles.
  22. Remind me again what position she plays in? I seem also to remember getting 4 top ten finishes with her in charge. The players are to blame. We have a squad capable of finishing mid table but they are not performing.
  23. As an MP he had every right and was one of many who played a role in the peace protest. To try and make him out as some kind of terrorist is the lazy characterisation of the right wing press. I worked in London during the height of the IRA bombings and I for one are very happy that some people made the effort to engage in a process that led to a cease fire. One of those people was Corbyn.
  24. Have you got a new job with the Daily Mail?
