  1. You say not much effort. I think that finding out when Middlesbrough are playing, whether he played and how he played and then thinking up another way of slagging him off and then coming on here and doing it does involve a bit of effort. Especially as the player in question us highly unlikely to play for this club again.
  2. Whatever you say Hypo.
  3. You really do lack any semblance of self awareness don't you Hypo?
  4. I don't think that is the case. There are some managers who are only interested in going to the top clubs with big budgets to spend on players. Southampton want managers who can manage within a set budget.
  5. Best kit for me hands down was the 1966 final kit. Classy, simple and a great shade of red.
  6. Not so worried about the socks as the bras!
  7. I seem to remember him staying, putting in 100% effort and leaving on good terms. What is the problem?
  8. You really need to get out more dude. Spend less time in that batcave of yours.

  10. I cant believe the time and effort that people put in for players who have left the club.
  11. Many clubs would like to have a terrible season and be where they are though.
  12. Football is a business and lets not pretend that money doesn't come into it. He may have been unhappy the year before but from my recollection he did a decent job for us last year and I don't recall there being any lack of dignity when he left.

  14. That would have been 1992 Luke. I went to all 3 gigs so who knows, we might have sat next to each other?
  15. I am pretty sure that Man U didn't overpay us for Clyne. Liverpool on the other hand....
  16. To be fair he wasn't a regular starter earlier in the season but since he has had a run he has proved his worth.
  17. I didn't see them until 1972 the Hammersmith Odeon and then the Wembley gigs in 1974. I didn't see The Nice first time round but did catch them when Keith toured with them again in 2002. I have been listening to the live album from that tour, Vivacitus, today, Still sounds amazing. The fusion of rock, classics, jazz and blues isn't to everyones taste but the versions of the Karelia Suite, Pictures At An Exhibition etc blew me away when I was a teenager. To see him playing Bach from behind the Hammond organ (and underneath it!) was bat**** crazy but it was what the 70s was all about. Amazing musician, amazing showman. After the slagging that Punk gave ELP and their ilk it was also funny to see John Lydon and Keith become mates later in life too!

  19. Yep, you have to be of a certain age. I thought there might be a few more Prog Heads on here but it seems like we are a dying breed.
