There was a meltdown two years ago. There was a meltdown last year. A meltdown has already started this summer and will be underway properly when a few players leave again. No one is saying that people have to be positive about everything, just wait until things pan out before you decide that the end of the world is nigh.

It was called a meltdown because that is exactly what happened. Despite not knowing what the outcome of losing certain personnel would be a number of posters made all kinds of insinuations about the club and those who run it. I can remember a number of unpleasant remarks made about Katharina and her weight. Others were equally vilified. "Meltdown" and "bed wetters" summed it up perfectly.

Exactly this. People in any walk of life want to better themselves, no more than in professional football. Samuel writes as if selling is the model on which the club is run ignoring the whole big fish eat little fish ethos. Even Leicester, after their brilliant season, don't look like they will keep Vardy. Players and managers leave us because we have been so relatively successful and that puts people in the shop window. If we were crap no one would look at us twice.

Yet Koeman has done better than him for us and Pochettino has still not won anything. How do we know he wasn't prepared to honour his contract? He might have said that he would see out the last year and the club might have said if that is the case we need to part company. No one on here has a clue what is going on so why not wait until there is an announcement and some facts before jumping to conclusions?

It isn't all about money as you will find out when your supposed £100m goes nowhere and you struggle again next season. Top quality players will not want to go to the likes of Everton. No European football. Likely to lose a number of your so called better players in the summer. Good luck with all of that.

This all sounds very interesting. Where is your evidence? We have seemed to keep players and staff. Players and managers leave clubs all of the time yet the mighty Les has nothing to do with them, so what gives?

Unless he said he would stay and see his final year out and the club decided that if he planned to leave then they would rather it was now. be we can speculate all day long, fact is we don't have a clue what is going on.

There are a number of issues with this but I will just raise a couple. 1. We have no idea what Ron has been offered by Everton, or if he has been offered anything at all. 2. I expect we have a figure in our budget for wages from the grounds man up to the manager. As with the players, I doubt if there is a great deal of wiggle room in what we want to pay our manager. If I were Les I certainly wouldn't want to be made to dance to another clubs tune when it comes to wages. If indeed that is what is happening, which we don't know is the case.
