We are where we are. I don’t think anybody imagined that the USA would become Russia’s bitch but until Trump either gets what’s coming to him or croaks we have to rely on the rest of NATO, just like everyone else. They were probably expecting Trump to man up at some point, given that the US are the only nation that could force the issue. They still hold the cards, as Trump would put it, and if the US pulls the plug on support for Ukraine, what can NATO do without the possibility of starting WW3?
