I do not agree. What has been naive and amateurish has been the way that the media and some posters on here have made up their own mindswhat is going on without any hard evidence and caused a feeding frenzy of negativity. Cortese was clearly a dictator who wanted things done his way with someone elses money. By the look of it KL tried to bring in some corporate control, he spat his dummy out and walked. Pochettino led us a merry dance before jumping ship and the top clubs have come in, not unreasonably, for our top players. From this we hear that KL is selling the club and that a fire sale is going on. The Board have denied both but yet those who only want to believe the wrorst keep perpetuating the negativity. The Board have stated that the club is not for sale (several times), they have brought in a strong manager and are going about rebuilding the squad. They have said that the aim is still Europe but in a timescale shorter than what Cortese was promising everyone. What more do you want and what more can they say? You can either believe them or not, but the proof of the pudding etc so lets see what happens.

Indeed. It would be good to have two keepers that are good enough for the No 1 spot. Kelvin is well past his best and I doubt if Gazza will ever have a best to get over.

I assume most restaraunts want family business in which case they should be thankful for the business. Parents should control their kids but you also should be able to go out and eat without the noise Nazis having a go at you. I used to take my kids out to eat a lot when they were smaller as I was divorced and they lived a good hours drive away. We went into a family place one night and were having a lovely evening (and not being overly noisy) and this woman comes over and says that she was glad I was having a good time with my children but could we keep the noise down as we were irritating her! I swear we werent being "loud" and it wasnt one of ths ecandle lite places where go go for a quite romantic meal. B*tch.

No the swine!!! We had a Spectator promotion in WHS Sloane Square and Boris turned up for it. I was my job to keep the ladies off of him!

Interesting that Ralph is bigging up Les. Also interesting to hear what goes on behind the scenes. In the news embargo when the don was aroound it seems that our Les talked Luke out of leaving the club two years ago. Clearly the Don had every confidence in him (and Cortese would have got a lot of grief if one of the promising academy players had left so soon) as does the current Board. However we need someone to blame for what has happened this summer of the blame has been swinging btween Les, Ralph and Kat. Could it be that they will all come out of this transfer window smelling of roses? Who do we blame then?

I used to work for The Spectator and had some contact with our Boris. The man was a f@nny magnet.
