Cortese was not removed. He lft of his own free will. The people in charge now have employed one of the biggest names in football to manage our football club. We are brining more players into the club and could potentially end up with a stronger squad than last year. Not sure what you mean about holding back? Deals get done when they get done. Hi Spudders, long term damage is my big fear. She is very stubborn and doesnt listen to the advice she has been given about the other damage she is suffering from. It may tough (it was alwas going to be tough to repliucate last season anyway) well be but it doesnt mean we are already relegation fodder! Lovren and Morgan have not gone and may well not go. jrod is out whatever happens but we now have Pelle and I am postive we will get another striker in soon. Gaston is a decent player who hasnt delieverd yet. Perhaps Ron's new system will get the best out of him? Yes the manager has gone and look who we have instead - possibly a better one!!! We have only lost 3 players and have replaced with 2 who look like they can do the biz. We still have a lot of quality in the squad and are still well ahead of all of the promoted teams in terms of quality. It takes a special type of pessimist to expect us to get relegated at this point.

I remember a few years ago when there was a lot of criticsim for blooding our young talent too early and alerting other clubs to their potential. I think the arguement against that was that other clubs have good scouting systems too and would be aware of any emrging young talent anyway. For me, if they are good enough, bring them on. Shaw and Chambers were revelations last year - long may the conveyor belt continue!!!
