Great post Norm. You have a longer pedigree than I. I started in 1966 but, like you, I have seen good times and bad and this is just another stage in a long and interesting journey. No one has died and we will still be competing in the top flight next season so goodness knows things could be a lot worse. I have thought that CL football for a club like Southampton is highly unlikely without a massive injection of cash so am fine with mid table and cup runs. If there is a greater reality around the club nowdays that is no bad thing. For all of the summer sales I am still looking forward to the new season under Ronald K so bring it on!

A very interesting read. I know that this wont fit in with the way the bedwetters want to see things but I have long thought that the Board are not a bunch of idiots and do know what they are doing. It may or may not be true but it carries just as much weight (if not more) than the many baseless claims that KL is asset stripping and the club is going to be sold.

She must get a lot of that! I used to have a thing for Susanna York (the suspenders scene from the Battle of Britain did it for me) and met her once at a Time Out exhibition. I was on a stand and she was looking around. I wanted to say something about how hot she was in that scene but totally bottled it and just asked her if I could help in any way. I was convinced she could tell what was really going on in my mind though!

Hi Halo and Highfield and thanks so much for taking the time to write. I am gradually getting my head around this but it is difficult to help on a daily basis as she lives over 50 miles away. I have more contact with her now which is good but I am out of the loop in as far that I am still not involved with the team who are helping her deal with this affliction. The control issue is real problem and I can see how it manifests itself with her two older sisters. They are getting fed up now because she is getting a lot of extra attention and they just see it as attention seeking behaviour. I want her sisters to be involved in the process too so that they understand what my youngest is going through but getting anything done when I dont have any contact with the mother is very hard. This is clearly an awful condition and it is so sad to hear other people's stories. Thanks again - the feedback is always welcome and the offers of help very touching. Cheers guys.

Yes, me too. I listen to Yes a lot more than ELP nowdays. ELP seem so dated now whereas Yes's music seems timeless.

Hi SM and thanks. I am not a tekkie but the people I spoke to in the pub last night said I could just Google it and find a cure. Didnt expect it to be that easy to be honest. What if I upgrade to Windows 8 and transfer the files. Would that make it easier to fix do you know?
