Lennon wants to join Everton so why not Saints and Austin would switch with Pelle for the starters role, of course they would come to us.

Anyone else doing the predictions from this link? At the moment Saints are flagging near 17th with an average of 111. Me personally I'm owning it with 180, what is everyone else's score so far? http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/predictor

Midfield / forward shape - not working, change it back!
Pilchards replied to benjii's topic in The Saints
IMHO Wanyama has been our best player this season, I would say Pelle has started well too. I suppose you could say Fonte is not on top form as he is doing the job of two at the moment. -
Blimey Cyber Bully Fry you forgot the personal insults? Swap Long for Austin and maybe Townsend/Lennon for JWP/Tadic and you would then have some speed and power coming off the bench. Pretty good English options to have in those guys?

Post-Match Reaction: SAINTS 1-1 FC Midtjylland
Pilchards replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
That Caulker is a slow starter, a good team would punish his first 10' minute performances. -
Not bad, too much average on the bench. Get Austin and all of a sudden you can see goals coming off the bench if he rotates with Pelle.

I think our problems would be solved if we sold Long and bought Austin, at least we will have a bloody good striker coming off the bench and not a couple of headless chickens who can't score for toffee. -
i expect he will claim he saw Mane at 8-00pm this evening just as he kicks us off at St Mary's?

The Cyber Bully Fry who hides behind his computer screen? The poor coward probably suffers with a button co.ck mushroom too.

The truth is your becoming the biggest **** on this forum as you constantly add a picture to Alpine's comments (it's boring now)! and you spam other people's comments too. You're a sad coward CB, very sad coward.

It's a shame that Koeman can't have the final say on the transfer. The 'Let's get as much money as we can in' board will no doubt be getting sweaty fingers on any bid for 20m.

CONFIRMED - Virgil Van Dijk joins on Five Year Deal
Pilchards replied to Brizzie Saints's topic in The Saints
Blah blah, look this Virgil deal is wrapped up so relax and enjoy the next week of gossip from the press. I just hope we can bring this winger in and IMHO it will be a current premiership player who can't force his way in the team. -
If Arsenal came in with a 25m bid for Wanyama, do you think we would accept it? Remember he could of had a clause in his contract that he could go to a champions league team.

Celtic are looking at bringing in a new CB as replacement for Vergil coming to Saints? http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/celtic-open-negotiations-4million-deal-6270220 -
CONFIRMED - Oriol Romeu joins on 3-Year Deal
Pilchards replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
I don't think the game changed because of Romeu coming on, it was more to do with Koeman tweaking the tatics and giving the players a bloody roasting at half time. Sure Romeu looked okay coming on but I still don't think we would of won the game if he started because the team was badly setup in the first place. -
I think if Everton can keep hold of Stones and Barkley they will have a good season. Its great when a team keeps hold of its best players as the feeling is nice with your own young English produced talent. I think we sold ours too easily IMHO.

The two banks of four have not gelled together this season. Last season you always had cover when someone was pushing up the pitch, this season it's something like gaps of 20/30 yards appearing all over the pitch. Lacked the Morgan energy when sweeping and you saw Davis, Tadic, Mane & Long trotting back to cover.

They had a radio 5 show on where they were talking about English talent at premiership clubs and featured highly throughout. I think MLG does make a good point that we have better players keeping out the younger players. That is the general problem with English football, need a rule where you must play four local youngster each EPL game and you can't be forced to sell them until they are at least 24 years old.

I can remember two years ago Reed was running down premiership teams that loan out the kids to lower division clubs. That's an amazing turnaround and I guess it's the strong influence of Koeman and his attraction of picking up foreign imports.

CONFIRMED - Oriol Romeu joins on 3-Year Deal
Pilchards replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Just a simple question on Romeu, why did it take us so long to bring him to the club? He has been playing in the Chelsea reserves for about 3 weeks, did we get another knock back as Koeman hinted a new signing weeks ago. -

What I said a few days ago on here and I reckon the guy I spoke too knew something. A top midfielder with premiership experience - check Van Dijk coming to Saints is pretty obvious - check A loan signing as Guan has mentioned tonight - Was certainly linked with the Manchester Utd kid a good year ago and the black box would of picked up on what he is capable of producing back then just like Romeu, problem is he would not be a stronger version of Steven Davis. PS Why did we not wrapped up the Romeu deal earlier as he has been playing reserve team football for a while (saw his twitter account) Did we miss out on the Stoke signing yesterday and then went for the next option? Latest snippet I've heard, Celtic are trying to get a Scandinavian CB in so that Van Dijk can leave. We are after a loan signing plus a top midfielder with premiership experience. This loan signing is the one -

[h=2][/h] Posted this a few days ago and maybe this guy I spoke too did have something from inside: Latest snippet I've heard, Celtic are trying to get a Scandinavian CB in so that Van Dijk can leave. We are after a loan signing plus a top midfielder with premiership experience. Pinch of salt job from me. IMHO this guy from Chelsea could be the permanent signing so we are after a loan one still? -
The Super Cup tomight - Sevilla vs Barca. Could this be the game that Sevilla wanted Krychowiak to play in before moving on to Saints? He really does fit our bill plus we were going to offer 17m for Toby so why not 17m for this Polish international?

The bookies never have inside information, they change odds when a few bets go in. Only when they get a surge of bets do they change the odds and lock it. If 20 of us bet £10 that Adama was signing for Saints at 8/1 then you will find it will end up being odds on and locked. -
I think the hardest part for any Saints fan is we know next summer it's going to be Wanyama, Mane and Rodriques that are leaving next. We have reached our highest level and we just need to enjoy that ride.
