I totally agree with you Benji. The talk in the papers plus the radio makes us out as world beaters with the headlines - 'What a great front 5 England have etc.' Come a major competition Rooney will become even ****ter while Hodgson will pick the wrong system and send us all home again early. PS if only we had a good young manager that could gel the players then we have a chance, Northern Ireland have proved you can do well as a team.
-
Reckon we could of sold another 15k as it was hard enough getting a ticket for that day.
-
I did make me laugh when a Sunderland fan said he stays to the end of the game so he can miss the traffic.

After listening to the radio earlier and it said Liverpool are 5th plus Spurs, Tottenhan just behind in 7th. The race for the champions league is really hotting up. Excuse me but how on earth has Spurs got a better chance than us when our goal different is far more superior than them. It really hurts the BBC etc that we are ruffling the feathers of the so called big boys and I tell you what, I would love it if we qualify for the champions league as they will all eat big humble pie. PS anyone know a thing about Forsters injury?
-
Goodbye JWP, who's it going to be Liverpool or Arsenal that are going to tap you up?
-
Don't blame anyone moving on as they double the wages and have many top, top games. Think all of the players that left last year will have played at Wembley in a cup match plus experienced some amazing European games.

i had no idea Shilts played for us at St Mary's?

Oops that's the one

Best manager: Strachan, loved his quotes and we played good football too. Keeper: Niemi, what a save vs Charlton to announce his arrival, he does the impossible saves like some do today. Foreigner: Pahars, loved him and he has a great song too. Atmosphere: Vs Pompey when we had a minute silent for Ted Bates, it had hate throughout. Best game: Beating Boro 4-0 I think when we played the best football ever in the championship, walked the ball in the net with Lambert and Lallana taking the ****. Goal scored by a Saints player: Wayne Thomas vs Ipswich in the cup, was sat behind that when it flew. Most memorial match: Vs Leicester when we got promoted, just one big party and the best pitch invasion ever. funniest moment: The two own goals by Everton last season, we were very witty with it.

We have seen some great matches at St Mary's plus some superb players too. What are your best of so far? Best manager Keeper Foreigner Atmosphere Best game goal scored by a Saints player Most memorial match funniest moment

Team news for the Chelsea game: Forster - Overdosed on heroin. Bertrand - Neck injury from a loose puck. Clyne - Coccyx injury from skiing. Fonte - Head injury after camera pierced his helmet on the ice. Toby - Slipped disk from skiing. Wanyama - Injured hip after his horse collapses. Pelle - Sliced ear from sword juggling. JWP - MIA after a gust of wind took him over a mountain. Would be funny......not

ha ha very true.

Chairman out chants Streakers (female of course) Funny dance celebrations when scoring. Missile goals from outside the area from a player in red and white.

As we have a break from football for at least a week, who do you think has been our best player so far? Last year was easy as Lallana was the stand out player all season. So far I will go with Fonte, rarely had a bad game and has been the main reason for us conceding less goals. In 2nd place it would be Mane followed by Victor. IMHO nobody else comes near?

Two points for clarification from last nights game

The playing advantage rule should be given to us until we score. Problem is which month does the ref give up -
I challenge you to name some from attacking midfield to strikers. Off the top of my head Rideout, Le Tiss, Horne, Shearer, Beattie, Wallace, Ormerod, Clarke, Case, Williams and Armstrong to name a few would hit a bloody good shot that would more than likely hit the target than sky it. Wanyama, Mane (except QPR) Pelle, Morgan, Tadic, Davis and Elia are skiers, always blast it over or wide time and time again.

So you pay someone £20k a week and they still can't shoot properly? Thats not right surely? I teach full time martial arts and I have one person who could not use her left leg at all. Three months later she is in the GB squad, if I can why can't they teach them how to kick a bloody football in the direction of a net?
-
I totally agree, can't believe how Forster is rooted to his goal line these days. He has no friggin idea when to come, it's bloody scary that someone has not helped him get over his goal rushing jips.
-
The youth academy players are collecting them.
-
Good news is they are practicing shooting at the training ground this afternoon. Bad news is I've seen about 30 balls lying on the side of the Marchwood bypass.
-
Teddy Sherringham is doing okay at West Ham despite having a dinosaur with him as manager.
-
But he knew how to strike a ball? In the last three games Mane and Pelle have put their foot through the ball and it's ended in rowZ every time. You telling me nobody can coach them to body position or at least keep it down? even Lovren keeps it lower than our strike force
-
Let's take away the Sunderland result, this leaves us as the 13th best goal scorers in the premiership. Koeman is a genius when it comes down to being a defensive coach, what harm in employing an attacking one? It's an art to strike and ball or to have an eye for goal. I can't see what harm it would be to employ the likes of Le Tiss or Shearer to take at least a couple of sessions a week? When was the last time we scored a free kick or even a pile driver from 25 yards?
