The problem we have is you need to pay over the odds for someone so early in the transfer window. I can’t remember the last time we bought anyone in the first week as we are bargain hunters. Once players move from one club to another it puts another player down the pecking order and these are the ones we target. (Otherwise known as cheap shit) Very rarely do we get in a bidding war with players as the wages we offer are pittance compared to what other clubs offer in the end. Basically we will sign some players around the 3rd or 4th week of this transfer window because our mindset is small and plus we don’t have any decent players worth selling at stupid prices like Brighton are receiving these last few years.

I’m pretty sure we should have someone coming in pretty quickly who could score us some goals. Take that Adams chance we had yesterday, and the Salisu free header etc. Someone with an eye for goal would bury those and give a lift to the whole team. Watched Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United the last couple of days and I notice that they play a pass into spaces for their own players to run into which beats the marker and creates opportunities. We play passes to feet but then the opposition closes them down which results in a pass sideways or backwards. So it’s not kick and move it’s move and kick.

Currently on a splendid cruise at the moment so I have no idea what’s going on. To think we offered the job to Eddie Howe but Semmens pulled it because Ralph won two games and drew one. He thought we had turned a corner. Even some of our fans thought Howe was a big step back. Ha ha ha what a fuck up.

One consultation for us fans is we won’t cling on to the hope that we could escape relegation now. It’s dead certain now we are going down as the board won’t admit they messed up by sacking Jones.

IMHO the key to our transfer window is how long it takes for Newcastle to bring in some players. I believe we are very interested in a couple of their players.
