Not bothered what happens with him, if he stays then a pre season with Pooch will help him grow another lung, if he goes then we get someone else in that should take us to another level. IMHO if he goes then its our management teams choice not the player.

Oh dear, and there's me thinking Clyne has not scored. I honestly don't remember this goal
-
I admit to remember those against us, Jerome in the last minute, Cisse at the toon, Bale last week. Ouch.

Villas-Boas "what a wonderful team Pochettino is building"

What a fantastic praise in that link. -
There is no such thing as a dead cert win for any team, Arsenal could suffer a virus in the camp, have a **** ref, batter the Wigan goal but let them break up the other end to score? Does anyone ever remember Saints vs Rochdale a few years back? Little Rochdale vs Saints, a team that had won many home games against a team where you could not name one player, pah you even have a '76 cup match to prove it when Stokes scored. Southampton who? said one Utd player. Lets just win on Saturday please.

The "I was wrong thread": Points to stay up - 39, 40 or 41+?

Toons down please as I'm not keen on the French.

To be honest with you if Wigan never had a decent cup run then 39 points would never be enough. -

This is quality Bobby, you are a superstar. Can we have one for the start of the season on how we can win the premiership? -

Very well said Minty, spot on as usual. Im so excited for our club as I know Cortese has some massive plans for us and it feels like **** or bust in the next couple of games. Come on you swans. -
And like we did against WBA?

Great piece but any chance of the kick off times? -
Defender clips on YouTube are not the same as midfielders and attackers.

I believe that those who thought 39 points was never going to be enough should get a big ****ing medal. Well done to you guys, just make sure you have a house party setup to say 'I told you so' if we get relegated.
-
I would rather play a team coming at us than a beach team like WBA.
-
The frustrating thing is we know some big signings are lined up for us to have a good go in the premiership next season but we can't quite make ourselves safe. So it's a great team next year or a shoddy one in the championship?
-
Of course it's in our own hands but for some supporters on here thinking that no teams will get a point or 3 away to Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal or Spurs because they are going for champions league places etc is deluded. A team fighting for their lives often can come up trumps. If we don't get the results needed then we deserve to go down.
-
Sunderland win for me and then both teams can play for a draw next week in a fixed match.
-
I know we have such a good academy but why on earth is SDR on the bench when I can think of two promising young players that would open a few eyes on the pitch, given the chance.

Well Pooch did say if Bale was at Saints now he would not be sold, so I would think that Shaw would be in that bracket don't you?
-
Did you feel the same about Chelsea, City and Liverpool? I too have that feeling like you tom but funny things do happen when we expect a tonking.
-
rather stay in the Premiership first, IMHO why not chase one of the cola or fa cup for once?
-
Chelsea have played 20 games so far in Europe, no way could our squad cope with that. Only the champions league please which is a massive ask within the next 3 years.
