Chelsea have played 20 games so far in Europe, no way could our squad cope with that. Only the champions league please which is a massive ask within the next 3 years.

To announce that two signings to come in would suggest he would have a close contact to one or both. Perhaps Verdu is one and someone who he has managed in the past or Cortese has wrapped up the Astori one. Verdu to take Steven Davis role and Astori for Jos. Leaves us with two maybe's which would be a LB & winger/striker. Let's have four quality players in and the rest being our current youth players to flood the squad.

Blimey why spend money on youth players if we have one of the best academies in the country. That's what I was referring too, get some great players in to teach our future stars.
