  1. A few weeks back I said that Sharp had moved to us as he had split with his wife and wanted a fresh start. What has gone on since then and having a baby does suggest they are back together again and him coming back in no longer an option as his wife will not move. Maybe he will do a Rickie Lambert who's family still live in merseyside I'm guessing.
  2. I don't honestly think he is an option now as he is no better than Gazzanigga, we need someone who will demand his box and make less clangers than the **** we have at the moment. If you can't find one in the premiership then pop over to France etc. IMHO our defence is good now if we get the guy from Millwall who can play cover as CB and swap with Shaw for LB. We just need a nippy winger, Still think we will go for the Blackpool guy and maybe if we sell Sharp and Hammond we get a covering player for Cork if injured.
  3. I'm not sure Billy Sharp coming back is an option because he now lives back with his wife who will NOT move south. Its funny how he says he wants to come back to let the saints fans think he's a great guy and yes he did love it down here but he knows that situations have changed now. I predict we will sell him in this transfer window or Forest buy him at the end of the season. Quite frankly we took Sharp as a desperate option last season which turned out well as it got us in the premiership.
  4. Just think if we had a half decent keeper then we could be sitting pretty in 8th place.
  5. Still at St Mary's.
  6. If we trade Deano in then it won't be more than 3m they will want.
  7. We need a natural left footer in that role and Ramirez is better suited in the centre so I would think about Richardson right back, Clyne left back and shaw pushes up to fill the role. Shame we have so many academy players that are right footed as they could of slotted in a trouble position.
  8. Final delivery was shocking, missed someone who can whip in a damn good ball on a wet surface.
  9. Exactly, back around the Chelski game I was told unless he's had a big slip at home holding his baba.
  10. Not raining now and their is no way this match will be called off. If anything the groundsman will be watering the pitch before kick off ha ha.
  11. NO he's not!!! Totally not out for 10 weeks, sorry Jamie. I guess someone will speak to his dad later.
  12. The club will provide your outfit? Newcastle top it is then!!!
  13. I hope Guly replaces Lallana and that's it, why change a winning team? If Guly's 25 yarder went in we would be screaming for his return.
  14. Yes good point, we needed a top signing and Michu was that person we needed until a certain Swansea manager came along and killed our interest as he wanted to play for him. That's only what I was told on why we never got him in the end.
  15. Would take him out until the cup match at least.
  16. Lallana is back
  17. I would say Sam Hoskins as he played very well, believe he used to play for my works managers team who said 5 years ago he would make it.
  18. Their used to be a Saints shirt on the ceiling at a local club in St Kilda (Aussie rules) I sent it to my grandad who used to run it in Australia.
  19. When someone tells you they did then you listen!!!
  20. I expect we will be back in for the Blackpool winger Phillips as Puncheon & him could be used on the other flank. Pretty sure a demanding CB to partner Fonte which leaves us with a defensive holding midfielder as Cork has shown its an important role for the team. Yoshida can cover the left back role as Shaw is doing do well. Thats it for me unless we offload Sharp (know why he left us now) Jonno, Jos & Hammond, would give us a loan option with the wages freed up. *Sharp signed for us when he split up with his wife, as they got back together in the summer she refused to move south.
  21. I saw enough in the 10 minute he played vs Reading to know Guly can step in Adams place.

    Shaw

    On his birthday
  23. I was there when we secured 2nd place in the top league on a cold Friday night In Nottingham & the travel coach stopped to let us get some beers to celebrate. So long ago and yet I'm not old.
  24. To think of it, the games we have won are down to bad teams that gave us far too much space, Reading and Sunderland are the type of teams who never sit back which will be a problem to us. I would be amazed if get the full max.
