When someone tells you they did then you listen!!!

I expect we will be back in for the Blackpool winger Phillips as Puncheon & him could be used on the other flank. Pretty sure a demanding CB to partner Fonte which leaves us with a defensive holding midfielder as Cork has shown its an important role for the team. Yoshida can cover the left back role as Shaw is doing do well. Thats it for me unless we offload Sharp (know why he left us now) Jonno, Jos & Hammond, would give us a loan option with the wages freed up. *Sharp signed for us when he split up with his wife, as they got back together in the summer she refused to move south.

I saw enough in the 10 minute he played vs Reading to know Guly can step in Adams place.

I was there when we secured 2nd place in the top league on a cold Friday night In Nottingham & the travel coach stopped to let us get some beers to celebrate. So long ago and yet I'm not old.

Reading and Sunderland are pivotal to our season
Pilchards replied to corsacar saint's topic in The Saints
To think of it, the games we have won are down to bad teams that gave us far too much space, Reading and Sunderland are the type of teams who never sit back which will be a problem to us. I would be amazed if get the full max. -
Tessem lives around the Totton area as he's often in the Totton gym and runs the streets sometimes.

Lambert came back totally unfit and Adkins was ****ed off, did hear he put some feeders out to flog him at one stage (probably to scare Rickie) but I'm sure it's all in the past now.

Is it just me as I could not keep my eyes off the big Turkey?

A player pulled up in training during the week, I would of had an update if I popped down on Saturday but it was too wet. Ive no idea who or how bad.

According to the people this morning Di Matteo is waiting in the wings if Adkins fails in the next two matches. Nothing new their I know but I never knew it was him that alerted Cortese about Saints in the first place. Interesting!! I hope Adkins turns it around as he deserves success, but it's also exciting that someone like Di Matteo could take charge if he don't.

Shame we won't have an unchanged team after yet another injury in training.
-
Why would someone like him but used as a stepping stone?
-
Win win situation, if the results pick up before Xmas then we have Adkins with us to take us to the next level, if he fails bring this guy in who will do a fantastic job for us.

correct, the players have been summoned to extra training and they are building nicely. Ps The cranes have been moving for 2 weeks now.
-
If we want to be runners up again then we seriously need to win all 5 games.
-
and the right attitude!! I knew two that never made it as they showed a sign of a bad attitude on the training ground. You could add Nile Ranger & Jake Thompson to that list as ones that left because the management never liked them.

I remember reading so much about a guy called Cosimo Sarli who I thought would be a great player plus someone called Mark Peters, what on earth happened to him as he was banging them in for the youth teams. Who did you think could of gone on to become a special player but failed somehow? PS Title thread should be........ Players who you thought would be great?

Im having a cracking time down Butlins and I can see half the Saints squad are having a whale of a time too, That Raminez moves well on the dance floor, lets hope he has the feet work on Saturday. Gotta go as Adkins is doing the tequilla shots at the bar

No it's a rugby player from Trojans.
-
We have plenty of cover, it's the norm to see 15 year olds in the 18's section which shows our strength.
-
The hate from the press towards Cortese will either drive him on more or drive him away.
-
I heard differently, Adkins has until half time to wrap this game up otherwise Reed will be coming out 2nd half with his whip.
