They have been training now for 2 months, only speculating but if the gaffer was chopping the system and then putting players out of position plus leaving certain players on the bench then I can see quite easily how some get unsettled. Heard that Adkins brought some strange things into training since the players have been back and not everyone likes it. Only passing on the info....

Indeed the rum man does know some info..... Been following Vaughan for a long while now. A rumour that is starting to gain some pace is Adkins has lost the comfidence from some of the players in the training ground, I expect something is going on behind the scenes. I hope Adkins turns it around but I see Rafa in by Weds.

We don't know what is really going on behind the scenes?, Cortese knows better than most of us as he works with the staff and players 24/7. IMHO he got rid of Pardew as he lost the changing rooms, Cortese never hung around to let him fix it so he acted quickly in getting Adkins in. Perhaps the reason why the players are struggling now is because Adkins is flapping his arms in training and can't step it up a division? I know one thing for sure, I love Adkins to bits and I can't praise him enough for getting us to the Premiership, I so want him to succeed more than anyone but it's a massive ask to suddenly see us becoming a team to challenge for europe which is what Cortese wants. Benitez knows how to get us to that level and IMHO it won't be a gamble either.

Totally agree the shape is good but not getting the tackles in or back tracking means it does not matter what the shape is as its going to crumble. Im sure we will see a better performance on Saturday and the wide midfielders will be subbed after 70 minutes as they have been run into the ground.

Saints signing a player for 12M......ask anyone at the start of the season if they believe our club would sign a player for 12M....nobody and I mean nobody would say they will. I do believe Pep could come to Saints as I know Cortese wants to be the best at everything he does, Reed and him will look at the best to deliver what is a massive project for SFC.

I will try not to bring this thread into a Harry bashing one but....... SFC want to breed youth through as it's the future, we have some fantastic players that are knocking on the door with the likes of JWP & Shaw. Now Harry wants goldie oldies that he does not have to coach as he does not have a ****ing clue..... Not SFC and never will be.... Now that PEP guy plays football the way Cortese/Reed and SFC want it played... manager's are never on more than 50k a week so go on Cortese as this person will take us to another level, a massive level.

I certainly want to give NA a chance but I know Cortese will be looking for an option esp if we lose the Villa game. so the question is who is out there that could take this club to the next level and I'm certain it's not going to be Harry.

Got to laugh as we went to the Montagu Arms in Beaulieu (the posh part) We sat down and got the menu which said 3 course meal £85 EACH. I only had £90 on me so we asked if we could have a 2 course instead. They came back with £65 each... We had to get up and leave and walk to the other part which was way cheaper. I can't believe people pay those prices on top of a bottle of wine £560. Its nuts.
