So I speculate that this is what's going to happen. Raminez is now making his way to the airport with Saints officials holding his registration form signed off by Bologna. In the mean time it will be all over Italian papers that he's on his way to Saints. He arrives at St Mary's about 9 tonight and then Jordan Sibley & co will prepare notes & photo's for the OS bit around 11 tonight. Perhaps Cortese will delay it until Friday afternoon once the players training is out the way and the worlds press have the chance to get down St Mary's? I predict 2-30 Friday afternoon it's confirmed.

A very good keeper takes so much pressure off the defence, perhaps we should of gone all out to get one instead of chasing Raminez? Just my thoughts.

If Raminez never spouted off we would not of known how difficult it was to capture a player from another club. Very often fans on forums talk about why it takes so long etc..... For all we know the club could possibly have another deal lined up for a CB/LB which is also as difficult as the Raminez one, perhaps it's time to give those that are setting up the deals more credit in future?

I did pop down there recently and they don't have proper trees at the moment so I had to do the crawl in grass cuttings, ****ing stunk. Cant wait for the team to move into the main arena when it's all built as I heard they have special trees for ****s like me. :-)

Van Persie would be a great example if we was on the brink of champion league football. Our time will come at this rate. Back to subject - Raminez to sign at 2 with a full press exposure IMHO.

Problem is Cortese will not pay anyone silly wages & that's why we got Raminez because he will settle for 45k a week, cant see him paying 100k+ to the greedy has beens in the EPL. Bebatov Walcott Johnson to name a few.

I reckon I've spent a total of 2 hours on this thread and that's with a weeks holiday where I had no access, I bet some of you have done 10 hours plus?

Maybe this was an opportunity to let some clubs see our 2nd string who are available for transfers. They have 3 days to get their bids in now.
