With the right coaching anything is possible.Chamberlain is going to be better than his dad & you can add Jamie Rednapp, Frank Lampard & Tom Ince will prove to be better, so anything is possible. -

My guess is it will be just like Man City's kit but in all red with faded white pins stripes Yuk and bloody boring. Would love a reverse colours slash as it was a biggests selling shirt which tells the club we liked it.

A recent interview with him. When he walks into pretty much any building in Glasgow, he is mobbed. Had he scored 51 goals in two Premier League seasons, he would be lining up for England against Norway tomorrow. But as Hooper, from Loughton, Essex, has scored 51 times in two seasons for Celtic, he will be in the United States this weekend on holiday instead. Despite being considered a footballing god north of the border, such feats in front of goal mean little down here. When Roy Hodgson named his 23-man squad for Euro 2012, he claimed this country has a lack of natural goalscorers, even though the announcement came 72 hours after Hooper scored all five in the Bhoys’ 5-0 win over Hearts. Scottish football is weaker than the Premier League but, even so, you have to wonder whether — at some stage — Hooper should have been given a chance in an international friendly. Hooper, 24, who joined Celtic nearly two years ago from S****horpe for £2.4million, said: “Down here in England, people think I am Scottish. “And it is very frustrating not to be considered for England. In the last four years I have scored 101 goals but I have not had a look-in. “Of the 51 goals I have scored for Celtic, 50 have been scored inside the box so I think this shows I am a poacher. “Stuart Pearce picked me for one Under-21s squad but I got injured and that was it. “My dream is to play for England and in the Premier League. And also to play for Barcelona. That is the aim. “It could still happen as I’m only 24. But it is difficult to get noticed for England while playing in Scotland. Fraser Forster has had 25 clean sheets for Celtic this season. It proves he is a quality English keeper. But he hasn’t been picked. “But I have to be patient and I am happy at Celtic. I will play in the Champions League, which I am looking forward to. I have two years on my contract and we are in talks about a new one.” The Champions League will be an achievement for a lad who was in Spurs’ youth team before being released, apparently for being too small, and started his senior career with Grays in Conference South. Hooper wears No 88 — the year of his birth — and plans to keep that number throughout his career. He said: “I have definitely come a long way since Grays reserves. Now I am playing for one of the biggest teams in the world. I wouldn’t have believed anyone had they told me this would happen. “We won promotion with Grays, Southend took me on trial and gave me a contract. I never really got on, went on loan to Orient, played four games and scored two. Then I went to Hereford but at S****horpe I did really well. “My dad, Gary, told me that Celtic wanted me. Neil Lennon came down to watch me against Reading and I scored. “Middlesbrough were interested but as soon as I looked around Celtic’s ground, I said ‘yes.’ “Some great strikers have played here, such as Henrik Larsson, Chris Sutton and John Hartson and I was hoping to follow in their footsteps. I don’t think the fans expected me to play many games but I have started most of them. I live in a nice area and it’s great — apart from the rain! “I am grateful to the manager for the chance. He gives me a free role and I respect the way he has handled himself, particularly when that bloke came at him during a game last season. “It has been a good season with Celtic winning the League and I hope we can do it again.” But there is no denying the fact that Celtic’s title success was helped considerably by Rangers’ financial problems. At the start of their meltdown in January, Rangers sold Nikica Jelavic to Everton and he made an excellent impact with 11 goals. Looking at the stats, there is no reason Hooper could not have a similar impact given the chance. In other words, the only way for Hooper could be back to Essex. Or certainly England.

People often talk about the old rank xerox kit as being the best, well Barca have brought out there own kit for next season. Would it look nice in red and white?

Got me thinking this morning the away grounds that we always seem to pick up points from. I only ever remember one at Spurs, Newcastle, Everton, Liverpool & Arsenal. IMHO the worse is Goodison park as I have so many memories of me listening to it on the radio and slamming it off when we concede the 5th. What do you think is the best away ground for Saints results?

If Adkins can't change a game with 5 outfield players + a promising youngster then he is clueless. Yes why not a youngster dull days as they are the future of our club and it's a signal to the whole of Britain that if your child wants to make it then come to the best academy in the country as you will have a chance.

Pretty sure we have our keeper lined up. Always said Kasper was our no 1 choice and I reckon 4m will swing it, Watching Leicester to see if they bring one in. I see they spent big on a non league player which suggests they have money to spend. -

Nobody is until they sign a new contract. -
I predict Chambers will be the next big thing, great pace with skill, no doubt a youngster will be on the bench every week and thrown on if we are winning by 3 goals. As for keepers, I believe we only have 2 keepers at the club until you hit the under 15's. Heard Jaidi has two choices to make, stay as a coach at Saints or goes into TV/Radio. Finally I'm surprised By Mowthorpe as I thought he was pretty good.

Best time to play some of those teams are during the Champions league knockout stages while it's best to play Everton in the first 3 months. Liverpool away is when Gerrard is injured while Spurs away is when Harry answers another set of charges. I suppose Utd at home on a gloomy grey day & Arsenal on the opening game of the season as they never win. -
