Wow I never expected that. Watching on a stream in Croatia and there is hardly anyone watching!
-
If you look at the highlights reel you will see Wolves were putting 2 if not 3 players on him and yet he still broke through. Starting him straight away will have the opposition on the back foot as they wouldn’t want to leave too many gaps at the back. I personally think this will allow us to control the tempo of the game allowing us to take the game to them. I can also see why they wanted Gazpo so much as it would offer us two exciting attacking flanks.

Think the shit weather has handed the title to Surrey. Such a shame they don’t have the weather I’m currently getting in Croatia.
-
So they are but cutting in is useful especially when true wingers can hit the flanks. I’m actually looking forward to our new Manchester City defender as the other 3 haven't disappointed. PS the more and more games that go on the more I’m beginning to realise that Ralph’s management set up and tactics are holding us back. Look at the Man Utd boss, he’s got them flying again plus Potter and Frank get the best out of Brentford and Brighton. With the ambitions of our board I think they are demanding more from Ralph and it could be a matter of time before he’s gone. IMHO!

An ambitious line up that offers so much excitement. Bazuma Larios DCC Bella Salisu KWP JWP Maitland-Niles Stuey Edozie Mara Larios and KWP bomb those flanks every time while Stuart Armstrong has a licence to thrill with Edozie.

This is one of those games that we need to try out score them and not try to shut up the shop completely. I honestly would start with 4 of the subs that came off the bench. Off Moi, A Armstrong, Aribo and Diallo. I’m hoping Ralph gets it right from the beginning as we can’t keep going a goal down.

Honestly fuck off that was shit. Not getting a striker is going to bite us on the bum. Little things like balls in the box we don’t react to opportunities and that’s what good strikers do. Ps I fucking HATE Wolves, cunts!!!
-
I see it, we see it but will Ralph? Yeah probably around the 70th minute mark!
-
Excited for the January window as I feel we can finally compete against the likes of Everton and even West Ham. So a striker will most likely come in and either Adams and Armstrong will need to step up as they could be sold on. Love the fact we are an attraction to any youth player as we will give them a chance, wouldn’t surprise me if they are nudging their agents to get a deal at Saints.
-
Do you have a link?
-
A massive signing and the beauty of it is we know that he’s not going to be in a hurry to leave us. I honestly believe we have some of the best youngsters in the UK and I hope the youth development team can get the very best out of them.
-
Have a word with yourself guys if your disappointed with today. Already we have two quality Man City youngsters and if the judgement is correct by the last two then the two new ones will be great as well. Then we have two quality players from Marseille and Arsenal and I honestly believe we have another player coming in tonight or a late, late deal sheet will be put in. Watching this space!

I’ve noticed Benfica have signed a top striker late last night. Maybe we have moved on from Cody and back in for Ramos?
-
I know some of you are hoping for at least 4 players in plus 5 or so out but this is Saints we are talking about. IMHO we are leaving things rather late and I think at this stage we will be lucky to get one in and hopefully 2 out.
-
I personally think we should of put a couple of strikers on with 10 minutes to go. They were blowing and I think Mara or even Theo would of drawn fouls.
-
Red herring from PSV to get a higher price from Utd IMHO. Time to move on as I’m sure we are onto the next one on the list.

Been looking at some football forums and they are raving about our recruitment drive. Young promising youngsters who are already playing first team football. Lavia (18) is already a cracking player and so is our keeper (18) The one they talk about most is Bella-Kotchap (20) plus we have Mara (20) Got me thinking about who we would be looking to sign in the next 24 hours that fits the bill and it really does rule out the likes of Iheanacho (26) & Kalajdžić (25) but Ramos (21) really does fit the bill but is a touch too expensive. Got to be some kid out there playing regular football that we’ve not spoken about yet that is aged 19 to 21?
-
The way I look at it is if Che Adams gets injured long term then we could be in serious trouble. We need a good target striker that can play alongside him or at least come off the bench to give us options.
-
He’s on BT sport in 15 minutes if you’re interested. I believe someone from Southampton will be watching the game…….. ME
-
Me too, part of the Bednarek deal as they are not getting all the Chelsea money up front.
-
Thought Bale signed for a US team?
-
You do sense that our loan choices have either gone elsewhere and we are scrapping for what’s left. I just hope our money offers for permanent players get accepted in the next couple of days otherwise we are going to come unstuck if Che gets injured.

Benfica boss Roger Schmidt has been asked again about the future of Goncalo Ramos. The Portuguese side have now qualified for the Champions League group stages after seeing off Dinamo Kiev over two legs with a 5-0 aggregate scoreline. The centre-forward - who scored against Newcastle in pre-season during Benfica's 3-2 win in Lisbon last month - has been the subject of an offer from the Premier League this summer with the former European champions refusing to name which club. Newcastle are said to have an interest in Ramos but it may take a £35million bid to lure him to the Premier League. German coach Schmidt was asked about Ramos' future and said last night: "This is not just about money. Economic issues are very important, the money we have now is very important and gives another stability." When pressed on Ramos' next move, the ex-Bayer Leverkusen boss said: "We have two more weeks before entering the competition and we will see what happens until the end of the transfer window
