  1. Yep. It could certainly have a bearing on the level of punishment received. I'd also suggest they've broken the acting in good faith to other clubs rule, meaning they should be fined.
  2. I understand it as if the plays offs are part of the league structure, just a different component to it. They aren't treated as a domestic cup competition.
  3. Yep. I think they are probably getting pissed as we aren't engaging in their ridiculous circus.
  4. The charge against us is only to do with Middlesbrough, no one else. Until we've heard anything different, of course we will assume that.
  5. I don't know for sure but I'd say they'd have to bring other charges.
  6. Yet more crap coming out from Craig Hope and Boro
  7. That statement screams hissy fit to me
  8. Wonder if that points towards it being a Spors/management team thing.
  9. Also that says to me that they can't be that convinced by the evidence they are handing over. We've been told by Boro journalists its basically a foregone conclusion Gibson will win.
  10. I do wonder if all of this is actually now playing into our favour, should there be an appeal. Think we've got a fair bit of ammunition.
  11. They are so desperate aren't they. If it's allowed then it makes a complete farce of the system.
  12. The two chief executives are mates with Gibson and another member is chief executive of...Middlesbrough. No way can the EFL be involved in handing out sanctions in this case.
  13. Tbf it didn't get to them the other night
  14. One of the unfittest sides I've seen I think. In both games they looked knackered after half time.
  15. Exactly what Gibson did to Derby.
  16. There is none. He's being a drama queen.
  17. Exactly. It's like purposely murdering someone and getting a year in jail, but committing manslaughter gets you life. It wouldn't be proportionate at all.
  18. If we were kicked out they would need to at least postpone the final and wait for any appeal/legal process to be finished. As you say, would be chaos.
  19. The independent panel shouldn't be "caving in" to anyone. They are there to look at evidence and make a decision based on that. If there is any caving in then Saints will obviously win on appeal.
  20. Hull were supposed to release information today and didn't. I reckon the EFL have told both teams to wait pending the outcome of the investigation.
  21. Yep, if we forget the first 15 minutes I thought we controlled that game, just didn't create many good chances (apart from Stewart's poor miss). Middlesbrough were decent but I never felt threatened by them once the early onslaught was over. They tired badly in both matches - we were clearly the fitter side and it just goes to show how important that is at this stage of the season especially. Hull will be a more of a physical test than Boro. We've played them twice and they bullied us off the park up at their place. At St Mary's I thought we should've got a draw at least.
  22. Is Scienza's injury definitely ligament related? Looked like the Middlesbrough player caught his knee but presumed it was more of an impact injury than anything else.
