Are they on nodding terms with a Tory MP?

Did you have a strange urge to go out and buy Microsoft Office?

Or maybe they knew that the supposed injuries would grab the headlines and they could quietly retract the statements after a few days.

What are you rambling on about?

My point is why did they say it if was not true. Police forces have Press Officers. You would think that they would check their facts before releasing it to the media. Who said anything about faked photos?
-
Avon and Somerset Police have updated the condition of the officers that they said had broken bones and a punctured lung sustained at the Bristol protest. None of them had broken bones nor a punctured lung. Why let the facts stand in the way of a good story?

"It was appropriate that she came from Knokke, because you should have seen her Knokke-ers when I got them out back at my villa” from the autobiography of footballer Frank Worthington, who died this week. RIP Frank

Much more an artist than an artisan. Should have had many more England caps. I was stood on the Milton Road end for that Coventry game, featuring a very young Stuart Pearce.

The whole of the British Army will be able to fit inside Wembley Stadium.

What font size will you use?

Perhaps we should sent a gunboat up the river to sort out Johnny Foreigner.

Back in 2013 the elder of my 2 brothers died. We were discussing funeral arrangements and, as part of that, what music we should have. I thought about the old Hollies song "He ain't heavy, he's my brother" but, for some reason, I didn't say anything which I later regretted. A few weeks later we'd just finished clearing his bungalow. I got back to the car, turned the key, and that song started on the radio. It wasn't half way through, it started from the beginning at the moment I turned the key almost as if it was waiting for me. Spooky.

Read in the paper this morning about a bloke who bet £5 on a 5-race accumulator at the Cheltenham Festival. His first 4 horses all came in and the fifth was due to run at 13.20 today. Betfair said that he could cash out after 4 races, winning approx £250000. He declined as, if his horse won today, he'd pick up about £500000. Managed to watch the race. His horse fell at the 2nd fence.

ecuk268 replied to The Kraken's topic in The Saints
It was common knowledge about Higgins in the early 90's. I believe that someone put a brick through his window. After Saints ushered him out the door, he was running coaching classes for young boys in Riverside Park. -
To be fair, that's the case with most managerial appointments.

Quite like Greggs vegan "steak" bakes. Can't really tell them from the original. The vegan sausage rolls however are definitely inferior. Meat is very inefficient way of producing calories. To produce 1 calorie of beef requires 25 calories of feed. Even the most efficient (chicken) requires 9 calories.

Can't see why they're complaining about the tabloid press. The Mail only devoted 25 pages to the story in today's edition.

Hope she did the ironing before she left.

Yeah, all the fuss over Meghan's alleged bullying with the Palace announcing an enquiry. No enquiry into Andy's taste for young girls.

You said "How has Hancock acted unlawfully there" which implies that you think that he didn't. So, as head of the department, did he act unlawfully? If a private company breaks the law, the managing director ends up in court and can be convicted. How is this different?
-
He acted unlawfully because a High Court Judge said so and he was certainly friends with Hancock and was awarded the contract by his department without going out to tender. The company is now under investigation by the MHRA for concerns about hygiene and safety.
