Ummm plenty of those with COVID would have died from COVID the totally destroyed health service and other critical services would have also killed plenty hence pretty much every country in the world had lockdowns.
-
If it was a family member of mine who’d gone that far down the rabbit hole I would be suggesting they look at serious mental health treatment and getting them to withdraw from public life ie twitter etc as it clearly just feeds the addiction. To me the conspiracy nut is just another addict who needs treating. I have no problem with people holding different opinions and I’m not advocating I cancel him or that society does I’m advocating that those that know and love him give him the helP and support he clearly needs to come back to the real world. If he was drinking or gambling all day long you would say he needs help this conspiracy wormhole is basically the same thing just a different addiction.

How after all this time are we still having this debate? You realise that unchecked the first wave of covid would have overwhelmed our health service with those requiring treatment and resulted in thousands of unnecessary deaths both from COVID and other normally survivable conditions as the the NHS crumbled? Back to MLT his demise has been remarkable he seems to have disappeared so far down the rabbit hole there is no way back. Those close to him really should intervene for his own good and force him to withdraw from public life and seek help.

He wasn’t cleared of anything that is an abuse of language, the CPS decided that they didn’t have a realistic chance of a conviction following the loss of a key witness. Even if he had gone to court he would only ever be fount not guilty no court in the us country finds someone innocent. mo’s love to read uniteds internal report on this surely it would be in both the club and greenwood’s interests to publish it if it clearly shows that he did no wrong?
-
They could pay him for two two years to stay at home and agree to give him to any club who will have him for free instead of hoping to make money out of him. There are many many ways they could deal with the scum bag and to say he has done nothing wrong is ridiculous I will accept he hasn’t been found guilty of a crime in court of law but it’s obvious to anyone with an ounce of sense he is a wrongun.
-
Man Utd could pay up his contract and bonuses due and walk away from him having met their contractual commitment, I would hope if he was a saints player that is what the club would do rather than hanging on for a transfer fee or considering his return. The CPS as you said dropped the charges but that doesn’t make him innocent just means there was not enough chance of a conviction I will happily laugh at anyone who tries to tell me he isn’t a scumbag of the highest order.

It’s a loan deal because nobody in their right mind would commit to but him. If he has a good season and reaction in Spain is muted then he will be sold in the summer. There is no way he ever plays for united again the media which hunt would be too much. The only reason they haven’t ditched him is that he potentially has a value and they are paying him two years wages regardless so they might as well chance their arm and wait for a return in investment.
-
Exactly this and he has never come across as the spoiled brat type who will down tools. When he has played this season he has looked our best striker for me he would be on the bench tomorrow. One or two others need to earn reintegration into the squad but not Che.
-
Seems like pouring petrol on a fire to me if the Spanish media are anything like ours they will lap this up and rip the club to pieces.

Finally confirmed so I can go to bed!
-
It’s fuckin pathetic we should stop wasting our money on these media studies grads and just announce players with a nice picture of them holding a scarf in the ground like the good old days.
-
So negative and focussed on one thing, on balance we have had a decent window we’ve lost some good/great players but held onto a few as well and have made some great additions the squad looks balanced we have good players playing in their best positions. Top six should be an absolute minimum expectation while realistically we should be top 2/3.
-
Did we actually sign this chap or not such a load of bollocks around this deal today it’s so annoying!
-
Unhappy Che has looked more than good enough so far this season, I'm sure he'd soon get over his disappointment and knuckle down to earn a transfer in January. Replacing him has always been my main worry so if he stays I'd be fine with Stewart not joining we could always go back for him in January when he has proved his fitness and run his contract down even more.
-
5pm so they need to get there skates on hopefully we are holding out till the last second for the maximum fee!
-
Bless him he's still not learnt that you don't get your favourite players name and number on this seasons shirt until the window SLAMS shut, poor little didums must have saved all his paper round money up for that.
-
Lol, nicely dug up from the barrel of absolute shite we signed back then! It happens all the time players drop down expecting to be first choice but actually find it much harder in the championship than they expected
-
This, the Nathan Jones experiment was the driving force behind our relegation I suspect if Ralph had stayed we would have scraped survival, the decision to appoint Jones and then stick with him for more than a week and let him blow a huge wedge of money on a lump of a striker for his hoof ball tactics was shocking. If I was a player who had just lost 40% of my income and had the prospect of regaining that plus a nice signing on bonus I would be all over it and I find it funny how people expect footballers to react differently to the man in the street. I would hand my notice in tomorrow for a 10% pay rise let alone 40%! We will miss him if he goes he has shown enough already this season to convince me that he would manage a significant goal return and that will be hard to replace.

I prefer the old Heskey line 'His first touch is so poor his second touch is a sliding tackle'
-
Seems to be in and out of the side the last couple of years which I have always felt was odd as he is one of our better creative options, if he is going to start regularly I wouldn't mind him being Captain not that I think it makes a great deal of odds who wears the arm band it is a bit of a British obsession that the rest of the world find a bit bizzare.
-
That looks promising, I looked on the city and saints sites and a few twitter links that didn't mention it, getting him in on loan looks like a great piece of business getting him permanently for as little as 20m if we go up looks like a steal. Very happy with this deal lets hope the rest of the day goes as well!
-
Where are you seeing the obligation to buy reported the club don't mention it?
-
exactly, unless the loan fee is pretty much the same as the transfer fee we wanted from Everton which would equally make no sense to me but then the way football clubs seem to be running there finances makes no sense to anyone these days!
-
That Legacy thing on his arm is one of the worst Tattoos I've ever seen not only does it look like a kid designed and drew it but it is so cringeworthy that it almost defies belief!
-
Lol did you literally just read the first line of my post and miss the but where I said we have been shite at buying players for big money in recent years?
