He might well have a better career than Lavia who seems to be made of glass but I’m not sure he is a better player Lavia on his day is a beast!

I’ll give him a little leeway as he had a terrible GK and only one striker but he failed miserably to get a tune out of a decent squad and persisted in making the same dumb choices over and over again which reminded me of Martin. I’ve decided I’m not a fan of coaches who have a rigid system they want to stick to regardless of the players available or the circumstances managers need to be flexible, able to work with a squad and change things that obviously are not working!

Think I’ll reserve judgement on that, JWP was a key player for us in the premier league and made the England squad! He was just below the standard required to be a top premier league player and is among the best we have ever produced. Bragg has made a great start but let’s not get carried away just yet if Bragg reaches JWP levels he will have done extremely well and we will have another great player.

It is amazing the difference a top quality keeper can make and we’ve seen it so many times before! Boruc arriving on a free turned us from relegation fodder into a mid table team. Niemi took us up a step from Paul Jones and this season we’ll talk about night and day.

The table certainly makes it look that way although we’d still be in with a shot if results went our way on the last day I’d prefer it was in our own hands, two wins should see us finish above Boro regardless of other results.

Can see Bragg and Azaz missing out, Bragg is still so young and Azaz is clearly carrying some sort of injury and both ran themselves ragged at Wembley.

It’s nice just to have two decent centre forwards to choose between! Stewart’s return to something resembling fitness has been a very pleasant surprise an Larin looks a million times better in a Saints shirt than he did on paper before we signed him!

Be disappointed if it was anything other than a decent one, nothing special but he certainly never did anything to warrant a bad reception on his return. A limited player who always gave his all but was never quite good enough!

Bree has been a key component in the teams success since he returned Jelert isn’t getting a start unless it’s a dead rubber and he hardly rotates the centre backs so it’s not surprising Quarsie is struggling for game time as he has been bang average.

Was expecting to loose, would happily have taken a draw before kick off so chuffed with 3 points. so good to see us playing for at the back again after wasting half a season on the 3 CB’s experiment and so good to finally have a goalkeeper who is actually half decent at his job!

The difference being Brighton have got lucky so far, they will eventually struggle as maintaining that level of success in the transfer market while selling your best players is impossible long term. Our club is a mess though, clearly the board are dictating this 3/5 at the back nonsense and think they are smarter than everyone else when it comes to gambling on young managers and inexperienced players. I’d love us to appoint a manager who talks about winning games and fill out the team with one or two senior players (not the totally past it types we have been picking up)

Totally agree writing of this season is mental, I think our shot at the auto's is gone but there is nearly always a team that climbs up into the play offs and we are not that far off.

Can we please fire this clown and appoint someone totally unfashionable who doesn’t talk about ‘the system’ and instead talks about getting results I don’t want a system I want wins, I want us to be hard to beat and in the league relentless going forward.

and stop playing three centre backs, draws will not get us out of this leage, being hard to beat might sound great but actually we would be better off loosing more if we actually won a few in the meantime. We have two maybe three seasons to get promoted before we risk a leeds/wednesday/coventry spell in the wilderness.

Lost this game the minute he handed a team sheet in with 3cb’s on it! Have ever played well with 3cb’s (ignoring one off games ten years ago which I’m sure some smart arse will remember!) Sack the manager and get someone who isn’t trendy and fashionable in!

Maybe if he’d dropped the over defensive lineup played 2 or 3 up front we would have created even more, scored more than none and actually won the game. That line up at home against Swansea when we are desperate for a win was an act of out right cowardice. Happy to eat my words when we storm up the league playing 1 up front and 5 at the back but I won’t risk holding my breath. The writing is on the wall he won’t last the season and if you ask me will be lucky to make Christmas.

Well done you found one, still stands that most successful teams in British football don’t play 3 centre backs and again Instand to be corrective but I can’t remember saints ever doing it well. How many sides in the top ten of the championship this year will play 3 centre backs in most games?

It’s too early to write him off but if he sticks to playing three centre backs for the next couple of games I will be firmly in the manager out camp. I struggle to think of a single instance of any team being successful in English football playing 3 centre backs and we are always awful when we do!

He’s clearly broken, I will never understand why we signed him a terrible decision for a club with limited funds.

One of the few players I wouldn’t expect to leave Wednesday unless the chairman forces him out as he is finally guaranteed to start which is what he has wanted.
