  1. This simply won't happen and even if it did they will simply appeal to CAS and have it thrown out money talks and City have shed loads of it.
  2. Surely after his post match comments the board have to pull the trigger? If he send a team out on the weekend they are likely to loose on purpose just to get shot of him and if by some miracle we win can you imagine what the puffed up little nobody is going to say to the media then? his fired his bolt, blown the opportunity of a lifetime and should recede back into the lower leagues to make a career out of hoof ball and bigging himself up.
  3. We need to start prepping for the championship and the first step should be brining in the manager who will be in charge of securing it as Jones surely won’t be here come August
  4. And we are down.
  5. The line up is in I reckon we have already lost that game!
  6. Would have taken some serious balls for him to attend, can you imagine the chorus of boo's when he quoted his latest win percentage! The mans a bad joke and sadly despite his stay at the club being almost certainly being a short one it is likely to do significant damage!
  7. Close and competitive? Have you been watching different games? Loosing by one goal doesn't mean the game was close we've hardly had a sniff in most of our defeats and even our cup victories against lower league dross have been unconvincing, Jones makes Mark Hughes look like a footballing genius and that takes some serious effort!
  8. It's nice that w have brought some players without selling the best ones at the club for once and hopefully some at least will be an improvement on what we have, shame we couldn't have got the striker we needed in at the start of the month as we might not b bottom of the league if he'd hit the ground running. Big negative of the window is we still have a manager who doesn't know what he is doing!
  9. 3-5-2 whith lyanco at centre half and the new big man upfront trying to pull the ball down from the heavens every two minutes, Jones finally has his target man so expect full on hoof ball, we will go two down then revert to a back four and play the ball sensibly and suddenly look much better rinse and repeat until Jones is sacked of someone beats some sense into him (note I'm not actually advocating someone beats him it's a figure of speach!) as clearly he is incapable of learning from direct experience!
  10. Housing estate surely in that location?
  11. We should do both we need a new striker regardless.
  12. Also tella is free and zero risk if he doesn’t work out we have lost nothing, any other championship player particularly a forward is a risk as many of them turn out to be not quite good enough!
  13. We might well find another one but they key point is we have as much chance of finding one for 15 million as we do 30 and for every Pelle you’ll have to endure a carillo a che and a few failed youngsters!
  14. I haven't said that what I have said is that all this talk of if we put the Aribo etc money in the striker pot then there is no guarantee we would have a striker any better than Che, yes we clearly need a new striker and I'm disappointed we haven't added one but it's not easy and busting the budget is no guarantee of success we are clearly trying to get players in it's just a question of timing and the right player at the right price there is certainly no point blowing the budget just for the hell of it people seem to quickly forget the Carrillo example!
  15. We also have a terrible record when it comes to big money deals, the list of people who were are record transfers makes pretty grim reading! I'm disapointed we weren't in for Ings or couldn't compete on wages with West Ham as he is proven quality, but as you point out any transfer move is a gamble and price is no indication of quality/success big money flops litter the league!
  16. Ings is a still decent and will probably still be more clinical than che long after he has retired! Yes he isn’t the future and may not be quiet the player that left but as shown in the stats he would certainly improve the team. Would be so nice to have a striker who you think will actually score when the chance comes!
  17. Such a frustrating player! Somewhere in there is a top draw player sadly it seems trapped most of the time!
  18. I see no problem with giving him a new contract he is a decent squad player, shouldn’t be starting every week but definitely worth keeping around we will never have a squad full of Mane’s and we need some consistent decent experienced pro’s around!
  19. No point watching it now you've spoiled the match 🤣 although a Mahrez header is a collectors item!
  20. Depends on the game for me, if by some miracle we are winning he doesn't get near the pitch as no manager is going to risk someone who isn't up to speed, if we are getting stuffed he doesn't need to be exposed to us at our worst but if we are a goal down with 10 minutes to go he might just be worth a gamble
  21. The manager seems to prefer Lyanco at right back!
  22. We’ve probably signed more good than bad from Scotland! Wanyama, van dijk, davis, armstrong have all been good signings for us!
  23. Simplify that wrong manager, buck stops with him for this omni shambles yes we aren’t world beaters but he has successfully made us much much worse than we were under Ralph. We look like a pub team playing the European champions!
  24. Totally agree how any manager can think lyanco is a premiership starter and Armstrong isn’t I will never know. Armstrong always looks like our most creative midfielder it baffles me that he has spent so long on the bench this season!
  25. Surely he has got be getting the call in the morning? The board can’t go on with this the man is like you say out of his depth and drowning fast.
