well that's how its been and how it is. It could be said that how come 52% voted in favour of something but the 48% are thwarting the majority's desire. If you truly think the first past the post is wrong and its not fair, how do you think the majority ( im not one of them) feel as they are being stopped by people like yourself???

there used to be a yellow donkey in the 20th century but I think they made such a mess of things the donkey was put down. A party of Thorpe and the big fat paedo who they covered for many years dont deserve much thrift. Although as I said Cameron with Clegg was a decent balanced mix

Perhaps Spain at present is a good example of why coalitions are not a good thing. First past the post has worked for a long time in our democracy. Although I did enjoy the Con Lib term. I have had to suffer under Wilson, Brown, Blair and co, but I accepted it, the same as I have us leaving. Its how you have to deal with things, if Corbyn gets in I will have to adjust accordingly and it is about time I stopped working 6+ days a week.

Duncan, to be fair I cant recall a manager you have been supportive of. I feel you went off Ralph bigtime as he sold your friend SG and so you turn on him. Ralph is a big disappointment, but look what he has to work with!! Give a chef a tin of corned beef and see what he can make against a rival chef who has the finest cuts of beef. We as fans have been let down by many people, Les Reed , Ross Wilson, Katrina and Gao. Ralph came and took a big risk by joining us and I think it must have dawned on him after the Cardiff game last season how little he has to work with. I like Derrys idea of Ings in the midfield as at least he makes cutting passes, the rest of our midfield couldn't cut a sandwich. I would ask you to be more supportive of the manager as Adam Leitch put it so well on the Total saints podcast, we cant keep binning the manager. Listen to it and Im sure as a reasonable man you will see the sense

Episode 91 (post-Everton) - Total Saints Podcast
OldNick replied to TotalSaintsPod's topic in The Saints
Good episode, and pleased that you weren't wanting Ralph to go. Adam very good and put it as I feel -
Ive never been less interested in Saints/PL/Football in all my 50+ years supporting Saints. Last season I was boosted by Ralph believing that there would be some young snips in from Germany who would transform our play into an athletic pressing team, sadly pressing has become depressing! Our midfield has been dull for seasons and Wilson/Reed have walked away with their reputations intact in wider football, a disgrace
-
It is at these depressing ties that names like him get floated lol
-
they also have some complete arses that down tools if they don't like it
-
the last really scintillating football I recall was under him. The final was superb, forget not the Liverpool semi home and away where we destroyed them at SMS plus WHU away etc etc. He didn't have a transfer window to improve the team, look at who Leicester bought under him
-
The common denominator in all of this is the players. They believe they are better than they are. Puel was never given a proper chance and considering the majority of the team he took to 8th shows how well he did, and also why he played so defensively as they are dire
-
To get Gao out you have to find someone to buy. Who would buy us at present? A club that is fallng into relegation and wth a wage bill that will bring the club to the brink again.
-
its incredulous that fans on here thought we had a good squad. No pace or guile in midfield and a defence that would fold at the drop of a hat. As for the contracts Reed put the players on mean we will have the same players in L1
-
that repulsive t### no thanks
-
Built by a former Saints manager, in fact 2 former saints managers
-
we have made our bed and have to lay in it. we weren't satisfied with top 8 finishes and a cup final, the 'anyone but' attitude has got us here. So if w get rid of another manager will that work. Sooner or later we have to stick. Any team that loses 9-0 is in trouble and probably still a bag of nerves
-
Under the what we must do numbers 4 and 5 dont seem to be part of my understanding re climate change
-
by the look of it I doubt it. If he is with his daughter I expect he wont want to go into a pub or confront an 'old friend'

Shorting the pound may make speculators money but to do so they cost the wealth of others. When the pound was under the cosh on Black Friday? all those years ago I could have made a bit but I couldn't do so as I felt it was morally wrong and costing the man in the street who were powerless. Davis is obviously a smart operator, but not always right. Shame he didnt give us a few tips when he was on here lol but of course he's not allowed to. As for your earlier post re family, I now accept that you do regret your off the cuff remark, but you should have apologised at the time and were very reticent to do so. Perhaps in future you should refrain form bringing other members of posters families into your debate.
-
DT has had a big chip on his shoulder about KD all along. There is no saving him from his predudice
-
If Shurlock really is Davies it is a shame if he has left, as irritating as he could be he was also a very good well informed poster. If anybody has any of Davis' e-mails and he ends them with Pal then you are correct GM
-
Perhaps you should not mention other peoples family in postings. I have backed you up in the past and in the main I am pretty even handed in my opinion. I agree with Norway that the personal stuff if not called for. If Whelk has thrown stuff at your family who are innocent to all our ramblings on here then that is out of order. If people want to insult me that's fine. Anyway move on Brexit is a disaster for both sides as there is now no winner whatever happens. The whole nation is a loser and IMHO all down to a certain man not having a fatality in a single engine plane crash. Had that had a different outcome this would not be a one issue election

at no time showed any remorse or apology.
-
Could have been Anti Niemi as well
-
Fair enough then, my mistake or the lad who poited you out.
-
you can go away. UJ has said some pretty revolting things to some posters on here, making pretty disgusting comments aimed at posters whose wives are seriously ill, and never showed any remorse for doing so ( not in my case thankfully) SO wind your neck in.
