Sorry, I didnt mean our games I meant generally
-
You should have cashed out weeks ago.

I get the time lost to balls out of play, but am I the only one who thinks most games are dull? We certainly had a fair share recently.
-
I like a good test match , but the county game is dull with few spectators. It is the 20-20 that has generated plenty of revenue and crowds. You have to get to the stage where the County game is really finished as a spectator sport. Who can afford the time to sit at a ground for 3-4 days? Anyway, I expect it is me and tiring of the PL circus as well as the playing the ball across the back line and not much goal mouth action. I watch the Big Match replayed of the 1970's and whilst the quality is lower the the technical stuff we see now, it was a lot of blood and thunder on pitches that our players wouldn't bring themselves to go play on

they are usually against us lol

Saints CEO Martin Semmens interview - 26th July 2020
OldNick replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
would be a terrible loss imo -
We get a decent manager/players/chief executive/chairman and they are taken away. It is a constant downward spiral of despair. If we finish 8th the manager is poached (apart from Puel where we sacked him lol)so to expect a year on year 8th position or thereabouts is a fantasy. I find it very hard to enjoy football now, and definitely try not to have a Saints hero in the squad as they soon leave,

I notice that Perez has said that games should be reduced to get more younger supporters interested. At first I thought this was madness but when I think about it, so many games are turgid for long periods and so 2 halves of 30-35minutes may not be a bad thing. The players would have more energy and perhaps the games may be more enthralling. I know the traditionalists would rail against this but perhaps the young may find this more exciting, the 20-20 cricket was frowned upon but it inspired younger people, so why not football

I saw that and our back room and youth coaches all the way up must be appalling. There are clubs who seem to have scouts who pick really good young players to bring them through. If you have a dearth of good judges you are going to get poor quality in. Ive said it before, get the Brentford scouts in they have a brilliant set of pickers.

If Disney do it I assume Pompey will be parachuted in

I saw last night that Sky announced that they have had no contact about brodcasting, I bet they havent and gutted. I would suggest Amazon will be the the seat for that, with the US connection

A premptive attack by the 12 to avert the domestic bodies taking action. Thus thwarting FIFA and UEFA perhaps The 12’s letter read: “Your formal statement does, however, compel us to take protective steps to secure ourselves against such an adverse reaction, which would not only jeopardise the funding commitment under the Grant but, significantly, would be unlawful. For this reason, SLCo (Super League Company) has filed a motion before the relevant courts in order to ensure the seamless establishment and operation of the Competition in accordance with applicable laws.”

Strip all the club of their historic titles. The moment they are told thy are to leave they will mess themselves as they want their cake and eat it. A midweek league, apparently. I thought they play too many games.....oh of course they will want the PL to be reduced in size and they will get parachuted in to the FA at the 5th round. When will the other get the balls to actually stand up. I think Im right in saying when Celtic tried to do something 10 years ago or so their league said goodbye, that immediately made Celtic withdraw their plans
-
If the Super league comes to pass, the PL will be reduced in numbers so that the big 6 can fly around Europe on their whim. (Funny if Brexit put a spanner in the works)
-
That may be the case but Imo he wasnt given the time or players to make the move upwards. Pogba really made it difficult and I agree he falls out with good players. To be fair though you need the players to pull with you. Sadly there are a lot of 'Me' men out there instead of team men and the new generation coming through must be a nightmare to deal with.

that's a good point

Ralph saying the players have left it all on the pitch has made me question him
-
Jose is not as bad as people paint him. I like Ralph but he has alienated players as well, Jose is a serial winner, Spurs were never the correct club for him. It would be good if he has made a stand, but Levy and co dont care what he or anybody else think.

It was disgraceful and seeing those lads who are basically broken was not good to see.( ive only watched the first part) Amazing that none told their parents, but they were ruled by fear. I do hope they get their just rewards. Need to phone big mouth Savage on his phone him and ask what he knew as he was at Crewe
-
It could even be our club doing it, make the fans get used to the thought hes leaving and their sentiment may turn. Personally he is tarnished as he obviously wants to go. Fair play hes done well for us and we for him of course.
-
I flagged up Toney when he was at Peterborough at the same time Todd Cantwell when he had only had a few games. I should be a club scout. lol
-
should it not as its population is far smaller

Bitcoin consumes 'more electricity than Argentina' - BBC News This is amazing, I had never considered the energy use of 'mining' this product. Will this turn the sentiment of the young against this 'currency'? I really still cant see why it is so popular and to me am sceptical , but it seems now the media are talking it up that it is going to rush on

Export into Europe used to be clear and easy, just pay the quote and go, now increased costs for the haulier re paperwork, 2x agents fees £75 (£150 total ) then add 20% vat to pay into the EU. No wonder our exports are going to drop. It has cost my small business most of my European sales as the clients will not cough up these charges and so source the goods internally. We havent yet had many people flying off on holiday, just wait for the extra queues etc and aggro. It is madness and whilst not a fan of the European project the economic sense of leaving is zilch.
