  1. It was about 3 years ago, but I think it was when you had your former user name.
  2. You must have grown a tad as someone from here pointed you out at SMS.
  3. wow the short man syndrome kicks in lol
  4. We need to get the BRentford scouts and coaches. They find gems and bring them through
  5. I thought you were about 5ft 5ins so I was told
  6. I suggest Blair helped that more so. Giving banks free reign to administer themselves rather than the BOE
  7. By some, she did what was needed at the time. The nation couldn't carry on with the Unions ruling the roost. Their extreme power was smothering us. Forget not that Harold Wilson made more miners redundant than she did.
  8. I very much love Scotland being part of the Union but what are the major advantages of having them tied to the rest of the UK?
  9. Well if he is Gavyn Davies it would account for his knowledge regarding the EU and its workings. In that case he would have dealt in Billions but there is a fundamental difference he was using somebody else's money, not quite so difficult.
  10. yeah, yeah, im sure you have Im surprised its not trillions. No wonder our deal is no good if your trade experts think that.
  11. Before you throw insults at me about trading, I would wipe the floor with you in a deal. You have the arrogance of thinking you are an academic but Ive been doing deals for 43 yearswhich would mount up to tens of millions of pounds whereas I suspect you may at one time negotiated whether your conker was a one'r or a two'er. As you dont seem to get the basics of doing a deal No.1 is not to take anything off the table without getting something back. Whether you think they were not worried about a no deal what ever they said, they would have been.
  12. Wes Im sorry but people of your mindset and LD is the reason that the society that we live in has a great chance of changing forever as the disenchantment towards the Tories may bring in a government that will hurt us more than any EU policy would ever do. Brexit was a mad cap idea and you sowed the wind but we will reap the whirlwind. All those bragging that they joined the Labour party to vote for JC thinking that they would never get elected, how wrong that theory looks now. Ok Boris may win the day, but if he doesn't!! and f he does are we in a win situation as we leave the EU with hardly the best deal ever.
  13. Apparently 'Brexit is not that complicated'
  14. Its about his extreme left wing agenda, and the people behind him. If that doesn't concern you Iam worried. If he gets in you will see a change in our society that will make this nation unrecognisable from the one we grew up in. The civil service will not be impartial and he has stated himself that it will be trained accordingly. The people he says he's going to hit will be off and they will take the money elsewhere, the vast majority of the tax earners for the nation will bear the brunt of the taxes of envy and the seemingly harmless old Uncle will show his claws. Watch all the old favours called in by his Republican friends, Adams will be on the phone 'Hi Jerry, remember that meal we had and the all conversations that perhaps we shouldn't have had.....' Watch the BBC series the troubles and see how ruthless a man Adams is.
  15. Corbyn is going to make bribes to people to get them to vote. It will be offering more in benefits, higher minimum wage, promising 10% free shares in the biggest companies of over 250 employees, (up to £500 each but the rest going to the treasury, state grab in other words) plus students who are supposed to be our brightest being offered incentives to vote. They will also go big on the carbon emissions promising all types of things but will of course in turn be just ways of drawing income in. Trashing the better off and 'redistributing' so that the envious can feel justified. I suggest that is how he is going to get the masses to rise up, not because they really feel they want to but 'if you're getting paid'
  16. If that is the case you had better put a bet on the Liberals. I do suspect that the remainers would now get a majority but it would still be close. Perhaps Boris is playing a blinder going to make the deal fail and so we flop back into the EU. He was afterall a remainer 6 months before the vote was announced
  17. they are but have developed. Much the same as the Brighton and Burnley pairings.
  18. you're optimistic !!! what about the 2nd minute lol
  19. The Guardian is no longer a Liberal paper, it backed Corbyn at the last election. My neighbour is a Guardian journalist btw. Criminals have no fear of law and that is not just down to cuts. It is the liberal laws that allow them freedom to put 2 fingers up at society. The victim is too often pushed aside for the feelings of the perpetrator. I dont want flogging but in the country there are gangs of thieves who go around stealing from sheds garages and homes with not a thought or worry of being prosecuted. Stop worrying about the superrich as I say they are mobile and can give their tax to other countries who will delighted to have it. Everyone of them will buy stuff from our tradesmen , builders etc etc and so they are putting money into our society as well as large sums of tax. Dont get on the bandwagon of envy, good luck to them and I wish I was a billionaire id buy a couple of defenders for Saints.
  20. why is that? Nothing to do with the contacts they have to get contracts etc
  21. Also 8-0 and 7-0 wasnt there a cup game where one of his teams lost by 7. We have been caned many times over the years.
  22. They didnt start that way, they were coach to play that way by a very good manager. They weren't brought from Real Madrid BTW
  23. We need a couple of lumps as centre halfs from L1 or the Championship whodont play fancy but do not worry toget in the wayof the ball. Afterall we will probably need that experience next season. Sheff Utds back four cost less than 5m,they just do their joband thats stop goals.
  24. they stopped doing that as they haven't beaten them for 6 weeks
  25. You worked for the Guardian I seem to recall and so you are hardly open minded to business. Iam not part of the super rich but what you dont understand it seems is that the super rich are mobile and they dont have to pay any tax in the UK if we make it difficult for them. Many invest in our country that in turn creates jobs and wealth down the pyramid. We cant just have a nation of civil servants, teachers, and workshy, although the Guardian would love that. We need wealth creators who pay into the pot so that the rest follows. If you are talking Phillip Green and his type then Im 100% behind you
