I lit a candle for you last night Mack. There again, you can brag about not only holding the FA cup the longest ( I know that was club 3 or 4 times ago) and now the Johnstones or whatever its called now as well. Perhaps it is all part of the plan you staying down in L1 so that your owners can tell the fans that they are constantly bringing honours to the club

Jannik Vestergaard - Official: Signs for Leicester
OldNick replied to ChiefScummer's topic in The Saints
Personally I dont agree, I think a centre half should be bullying the forward not the other way around. He rolled on the floor twice holding his face, I suspect it hurt but it sent a message to Calvert Lewin that he had won the battle that gave him confidence to keep doing it, the rest of their team would also have picked up on it. -
Ramsdale is also error strewn and deffo not for us IMO.

If he is going to be a decent player he has to toughen up. Forwards will see how he couldnt take the physical stuff and will play on that. Never show youre hurt -
had the jab thursday AZ. Just a sore arm at the moment.

How about stopping the agencies taking our trained nurses and then hiring them back at massive premiums, its madness. Not sure how it can be stopped though

is that the centre back totally owned and bullied by Calvert Lewin. Who rolled on the floor as he has a hand in his face. Razor Ruddock hes not -
do you think Reed was good then? I personally think he was self serving and can only be for the club that he is gone.
-
A multi millionaire who doesn't need to get hurt or even win games. Hunger gone and it is far too easy for him, especially with nobody pushing him. He gets into some great positions but rarely finds the right ball, becoming lax in his defending duties as well.

If the shoe had been on the other foot with those last 2 chances and we were 1 up at least one of them would have been taken. Salisu promising, but I found i pathetic how a big brawny centre back lies on the floor after his duals with Calvert Lewin. Lewin was wallowing i it and Salisu was petrified. If he doesnt toughen up he will fall away. Having centre halves more worried about a pretty hair style never has cut it with me.

You are a fool if you really believe this!!!

I was against Macca being dropped but Forster was a different keeper to when he last played for us. He commanded his area taking crosses. He did nothing for him to lose his place IMO

He is one of my favourite players and have felt he has been treated badly by fans. Last night though I felt for his own good he should be taken out of the firing line. He has the skill to beat players and frustrates me that he doesnt do it. Im not sure if he is following Ralphs instructions and that is holding him back. Anyway, it is tie he was taken out of the spotlight. Bertrand gets away with a lot, the amount of times he has good crossing opportunities and wastes them.I wonder how many assists he has.

Thanks,That's a shame, also that we didnt get him to pen a contract

On I think it was on Total saintspodcast this week, either Steve or Glenn correctly said that if a free kicjk is awarded for a professional foul where the opposition is then allowed to set up again, it would seem fair that the teamed fouled should get the chance for a quick free kick. To me that is fair as the perpetrator is getting an advantage. We were so unlucky v Leeds for that decision, Had JWP waited a fraction of a second I expect we would have scored

Really, did we let him go?

Puel team at times played some attractive football. I was fully behind him and sorry he left. I think Im right in saying that he lost the majority of the goals from the previous season as Mane and Pelle left. It seems in just 6 weeks or so Ralph who had very little criticism all of a sudden has now a torrent. Perhaps the power of social media and people stuuck at home being bored is starting to set in. Not sure where we go from here

I suggest comparing Pep's squad to our situation is a tad far fetched as his resources are better than anyone elses. I agree that we have been found out, but that was the case under Poch. Halfway through the season players are shattered and need a rest. Diagonal cross field balls completely take us out of the game, but again this was pointed out under Poch. Personally I think Wolves play it the right way, conserve your energy in the first half and then use it in the 2nd, hence their amazing run of results due to 2nd half performances. We also need the players to be coached how to play simple balls, the amount of times we look tidy and then just give a easy pass straight to the opposition. Armstrong beats 2 or 3 players gets to where it really counts and then passes straight to a defender, it really does annoy

Minamino is Mr Invisible. Yes he has scored 2 decent goals I give you that, but at present he is hardly an answer to what we need.
-
you could see in Mariners face that he realised he had made a mistake. Sadly Leeds TV (Sky ) sided with him. The Leeds player pundit was keen to say he was right and SOURness backed him up.v I had to turn the volume down as the commentators were getting right on my nerves
-
I will give you some slack as you seem to be of old age but if you have been following Saints ( although are you not an Arsenal fan?)a long time you should know the folly of changing managers on our budget. Chris 'watching paint dry' Hughton FFS I despair

The club would need to be torn up and start again as we are the Ralph experiment. The whole club is geared to his ideas. It would be mad to let him go, Im fully behind him but I do feel we were reckless allowing full backs and midfielders to go out on loan with no backup. Ok they may not be Ralph's men but they could well have filled in to stop having to play Moussa as a midfielder trying to fil Romeu s boots or at full back. Crazy.

Peter Shilton or Niemi wouldnt have got a game in your world then

totally unfair and a bad judgement

I think you are correct CB, the point yesterday must have steadied the ship.
