  1. All this Plan B nonsense, what Plan B can a manager with our squad do? Lump it up to the forwards and give away cheap possession. The best teams play their way win or lose, if we were losing AKA Chelsea we can play long ball but if you have a drilled team you can't change the system easily. Thank god we havent got fans at the ground as we still haven't learnt patience as a fanbase
  2. Who was doing the interview Danny Dyer, what is it coming to having such a poor interviewer.
  3. Jo Kirkup scored the first league goal I ever saw scored watching Saints at the Dell ( id seen plenty of reserve and youth goals before my proper game) He scored in the first minute or so at Home against Leeds we went on to lose 3-1
  4. It was on a feed I cant recall which one, but it was about Pep's wages and how the other managers were in comparison. There again a similar thing was about clubs owners and said Gao was worth 3.6bn, so must be nonsense
  5. I saw online that Ralph was one of the lowest paid managers in the league, 20k a week. I found this unlikely but if it is the case he will be easy to take from us. Surely this cant be correct with the average players earning more than him
  6. both Mick Channon episodes were great listens. Brilliant coup.
  7. Because Nicola Cortese convinced him to
  8. What history have New Portsmouth FC got anyway
  9. Are you really still in the 'Trust in Les' crap? I thought those had Ross's name on them
  10. yep enjoying the fruits of Carillo, Hoydt Lemina , etc etc. Forgot not the gratitude we should show Mark Hughes for him demanding we buy Ings
  11. I dont myself feel that the PL should breathe life into the lower league clubs.Should Waitrose help Debenhams etc etc
  12. Look at yourself moaning, get over yourself
  13. That's fair comment but if you wait up and just want to catch up on Saints it is annoying.
  14. Did you tune in for the Arsenal game then? I doubt many Arsenal fans did either. Anyway its not about that its about impartiality as it often said that the sequence is down to the importance, amount of goals scored and incident.
  15. Frank Bough passed away. Big name in the 80/s /90's then got caught up in a scandal and then disappeared from public life
  16. Lol, April 1st surely.

  18. Oh and listening to Ryan Bertrand in the weekend pod on BBC was pretty good, as they said to him did he know it was a year since the 9-0, with him replying did they have a cake and balloons. He also said did they also report the anniversary of the 8-0 v Sunderland . He spoke well about the club
  19. How was Arsenal Leicester the first game when it ended 1-0? Our game had the league leaders being beaten, 2 -0 and a red card.Im glad I didnt stay up waiting for the programme and as for 2 Everton pundits! Chappers did try to even it out but BBC impartiality really is a non thing nowadays

    Diallo

I feel exactly the same, he was good on the ball and energetic. Making probing forward passes. Early days but

    Coronavirus

People are calling for another lockdown. That is going to cause hardship in other ways, as I was told this morning where a laundry that relies on Hotels pubs etc stated that they will close as they cannot cope with another shutdown. 1m people have died worldwide with Covid19 , the influenza after the Great war killed 100m but we carried on. Aids killed millions and we didnt shut the clubs and pubsthen
  22. Ok thanks.I assume we wontbe buying anyone. There are some good players in the lower leagues who could do a good job
  23. The inevitable will happen and the top 6 will end up in a super league. It is about time all the other clubs showed some steel and rather than them leaving at their own terms and time we should cut them adrift now. It would take balls but the cards are on the table and push them into the unknown. We will almost certainly be a major victim of the cartel as 18 clubs would mean one poor season and we are gone without parachute payments. I think Im right in saying that about 10years ago Celtic and Rangers tried something similar and the rest of the Scottish clubs told them to leave. They soon changed their stance.
  24. I must be losing it, I thought we have been past deadline day but West Ham and West Brom have made signings How can that be I cant recall it happening before
  25. aidy boothroyd ought to join him the under 21's drawing 3-3 with Andorra ffs
