did you read the article in the Telegraph the other day where it showed whether we stay in the EU or not, the car industry is going to shed half the workforce and its supply chain due to electric cars? A lot less parts and far less to people needed to manufacture. We are going through the 2nd major industrial revolution and it isn't pretty. Roll on 10 years and the high street will be like the ice makinh companies of the 30's before the fridge became a household appliance. Unless we get a major change in consumer buying it is finished (High St) Take heed all you internet shoppers who are trying to save tenners here and there, once the High Street is gone the prices on the internet will soar and you will be worse off. Yes if you spend real time searching you would still get a better price but in the main after the first 3 pages, most will give up and buy from there.

you are the former Stu Romsey Saint I assume??

i thought not as he was quite a unassuming nice bloke

Do you see who voted and for who? No, great, I voted for you btw Good luck and hopefully it goes well. You will of course forget your people now you have power
-
Were you the Bournemouth Saint who played in the Forum match at St.Marys????
-
that's fine, but talk about it behind closed doors,or in cabinet, not go out to the media outlets spreading his mantra to gain exposure to try and gain support if there is a vote for leadership.

The politicians do not realise or care what they are doing to business confidence. I predict we will see a swathe more retail shops go in the next 2-3 months . Small as well as large. The general public just don't know whether to spend or not, and are sitting on their hands not making spending decisions. I was out browsing the shops yesterday and whilst there were lots of people looking around, the tills were not ringing. While I was in a small quality shoe shop I heard the salesman tell his friend that they had only taken £100 and that without notice a couple of their other shops had closed without warning this week gone. Rees Mogg etc and their own political ambition and agenda see no boundaries to get what they want. We the tax payers and voters are anxious waiting for the UK to show a United front. While we have all these splinter groups who are pecking away we will see no progress. I am a democrat and have to adhere to the vote but it was a nonsense that 2% or whatever it was as a margin was enough to win such a crucial decision. I believe that there should be another vote and that to remain there would need to be a 10-20% margin for the result to be reversed. Without a doubt the nation was in the main oblivious to the implications of voting out. I know there are quite a few who still believe 100% that we will be ok, but I cant see how that can happen. We will never get fair trade deals with countries after we leave as they will see our weakness, eg India who say they will do a deal but we have to look at loosening our rules for their people to come to live in the UK.

I assume in the end there will be no countries left to get cheap labour from. The way it is going we might have English going to Europe in the droves doing fruit picking

I'm pleased if fellow Saints fans are not burned on these things. Good luck.

seemed to be too intelligent for that lol.

now, now, Verbal don't be cruel. There will be winners as well as losers in this. Iam not surprised it has gone down, Iam amazed it has gone down so slowly though. It seems the idea is going to be used in our future, but the banks wont be pushing it, that's for sure.

it seems to me tht the poster who had adouble identity should be named and shamed. Afterall I pay to be on here and so expect a level playing field

I notice that Bitcoin is now under £5000. Is anyone on here still investing(?)in this new age concept?
-
Ok who did this fake turn out to be????
-
1957!! that's before my time thanks very much, lol 1968 onwards when I first started going to watch Saints as a young lad.
-
I wasn't his biggest fan, but it seemed to me he cared a lot especially on the run in of last season. Before the last game of the season I watched the players get off the team coach and he was the only one who made any effort with the fans Thanks Dusan and good luck in the future.

Is 16k a good wage these days? I don't know how people can live a decent life on that income, after taking out living costs rent/mortgage etc. it must be very hard to cope. Obviously if it is a kid straight from school that's a different argument but around £300PW is not a lot. Therefore is Trump offered them 20K a year to become another US state I suggest they would take that in less than a heartbeat. Personally I believe that we are heading for the rocks, and very quickly. IMO people are not spending, and to a degree not even browsing. My friends in many trades are telling me so,(not building trades)

votes from his constituents. Those comments will have cemented some votes for him
-
who knows what US trade policy is at the present time??? The idea of a free trading area of the strongest economies would be an interesting place to be involved with. Of course the EU have a large proportion of such economies

Over the moon to have Armstrong signed.....get what I did there?

In my 50 years of watching football, I can only recall Pompey playing European football on a couple of occasions in the seasons of when the taxpayer and charities funded it. What other time have they done so? I'm not talking pre season tours of Gibraltar etc
-
he probably did, and the only person to make money out of it.
-
you seem tense, is it that time?
-
but it is, when the WC football squad are talking excitedly about Love Island, the world has come to that. Reality programmes seem to be a substitute for peoples own lives.
