    Redmond

Yep of course week on week Pep goes out and has a long rant at a player. Redmond the season before caused them loads of problems but under Pellegrino was held back. You believe what you want, but to me Pep wouldn't single out a single opposition player for no reason

    Redmond

At the end of the day Pep can't be wrong. His judgement of Redmond as a good player, that was harnessed frustrated him as a coach. We don't know what Pellegrino made him do, but it was definitely against Redmond as a player. It seems to me that MH can see his positives and is willing to give him his wings.

    Redmond

Well his place is not under threat from those players. He is a decent player but it is buffoons like yourself who have such mind-sets that are so embedded you cant give him the credit he deserves.
  4. His interception when he put his leg out to get to that cross late in the game was fantastic
  5. Lol exactly what I thought, hey Sherlock did you see the end of that film, look in your top drawer lol, only teasing
  6. Well that it is to assume we haven't got insurance, and also the insurance companies are a pushover , just wave a player through and give a policy.

    Redmond

Exactly, you know fans want he to do badly just to prove their own prejudices.

    Redmond

he holds the ball so that he can put a player in on goal. You just don't seem to want to give him the credit he deserves
  9. Every player is an injury risk. There were many who didn't rate him and critical of his signing ( I wasn't sure of your position on that , but as you are being a bit defensive, perhaps you were as well), and at least 1 poster said he wanted Vokes in front of him lol

    Redmond

I thought he caused them lots of problems in both halves. He is the one player that gets me off my seat in excitement, once he has gained some more confidence and the crowd support him, you will see a fantastic player come through
  11. The first half showed how Burnley were more match fit and first to the ball. All those fans who were against Ings are at least put into a box for a while , as his zip skill and enthusiasm was a class apart. Redmond was brilliant, and reading back at the this there are a few who it still cat give him the credit he deserved. McCarthy won us the point, superb saves. Vestergaad very solid The Burnley players in the main all had massive legs, such a strong team and physical. Those who say they'd prefer Vokes to Ings lol
  12. they didn't have a top 6 squad when he took them on, lol. They were below us at the time
  13. Yep, as many would know I was a fan of Claude and wanted him to be given another season to build, I will watch Leicester with interest to see how that project comes along. I'm with ourclub and Hughes and hope he can build something. He does seem to have been refreshed coming here.Perhaps its the first job in a long time where the fans have embraced his arrival and so may flourish with us
  14. Lol, can you imagine how embarrassing that would be
  15. SOME would say a hospital bed to help with the unveiling
  16. Superb
  17. Leicester whilst they lost, looked pretty decent.
  18. Do you want to put a wager on that??
  19. Of course, but selfishly I had thought we were getting nobody in and so was ecstatic we did, and a player who could light up my seasons enjoyment. I don't have 100% faith in the forwards we had, but now it will add more of a push to CA and the others. Obviously it is a risk that he may get injured, but I suspect he has had the medical treatment from the Liverpool medical staff and consultants. I am not sure if many players have returned back from such injuries but Iam hopeful. Personally your point about the 20m would be more pertinent re Carillo, Ramirez , Boufal and co. They were not tested in the PL and turned out no good. This is a risk but if the medical teams say fine, surely he should be given the benefit, especially as the work he must have put in to get here
  20. Lol, I can't recall why, but I'm sure I was right
  21. Thanks for that, I'm so glad that I didn't put the 'you do more knee jerk reactions than a Pearly Queen on New Years Eve Pearly Queen convention' Phew, I got away with that one
  22. Funnily enough BP I watched a bit of the forum game as I was looking back on some posts and there was a certain clip of my star keeper letting the ball roll by the post and then oops:lol: In the thread of that forum game there were so many posters who played who sadly don't contribute on here anymore
  23. Are mods god's then and cant be pulled up?? I took the wording in a different way than it was meant, and now Lighthouse has qualified his post. No problem in my mind
  24. Ok, I read it as that you expected a 9month injury, sorry
  25. Does it matter is he was 2m or 20m 200m ? Its not our money, I get not payout. What it has done for me is that it has added a bit more optimism and excitement for the new season. I find it laughable that fans think Gallagher would be more likely to score the goals in the PL when patently he didn't score that many in the Championship. I truly hope Gallagher is a success in his career, but to gamble on him above a proven PL player is mad. Hopefully he will play a few games this season and gain experience and we will perhaps see him blossom.
