Letsbe, you can try and justify in your mind that Puel was no good and that you were right in wanting him gone, but I doubt if either of us will live to see us have a Wembley cup final appearance again in our lives. Puel was hung out to dry by the club not giving him a forward who could put the ball into the net. We both have been to many games that were 0-0 ,we have also been to many games where we won 1-0 in the most tedious of games, the feeling after each the 2 are different. Puel was unfortunate that we just didn't put the ball into the net and so the general frustration (understandable) built up. I doubt you would believe that had Puel stayed we would be in this position now. He would have got players in and also the style of play would have developed. Anyway, we march on together

FFS whats wrong with people on here. No wonder we get little info on hre because everytime somebody puts up something they get torn to pieces. I put up about Stephens wages and was told it was lies until it was confirmed by MLG who put up an article confirming my info. The said people scuttled away without apology(except Hypo to be fair) Anyway thanks AR10

I still think the goal with Solent commentary is best. It seems to be deleted online. To think we got rid of Puel after that, it really is laughable

I have never heard of him, the same as all the other foreign players who have ever joined us, I don't do fifa football manager I suppose. It is sad that our fans are happy to listen to 1 French football journo and make an instant decision that Guido is no good. Perhaps it would be better to see he fits in our team and if he can score. It is pretty important the club has got this right,if he is indeed rubbish, then welcome to the Championship. Welcome Guido and I suggest you don't read this forum as a large part of the posters aren't very good judges of footballers anyway and some want the team to fail just so that they can say 'I told you so'

agree, I recall how the fans last season were begging that JRod had to be kept. The club loved that so they didn't have to buy another forward, which in turn came back and bit us. We need someone who can do the job now

Looks like a political salute, Klopp bangs his badge on his chest like that lol

Oh behave Trousers, there are risks and then foolhardy risks. That sub was one that is usually made when a club is 4 goals up, not in a knife edge game.Perhaps it was a message to the board how thin the squad is

I expect any opposition defender would agree with you. Long would have run them ragged today, and his pace is always a threat, I do understand that Gabbi is more likely to score but at present that ability has disappeared

I don't rate MP but to be fait the players gave their all for him. They must have known that if they hadn't tried today the manager would be gone (probably) So he hasn't lost faith of the dressing room. To me it was reckless putting the kid on. The game was on a knife edge and it was just too much for the lad. I know fans love the romance of it, but he didn't or wasnt physical or experienced enough to stretch Spurs. I know Redmond is not physical but he would have at least shown himself for the ball. Tadic had the ball a couple of times and was looking for the lad to show but was lost. MP got away with that decision as we got a draw but it was a risk.Bertrand was superb, but his demeanour always makes him look disinterested but I think it is just his personality

No it was Stephens
-
I'm all for trying youngsters but to put the kid on up front for the last 10 was a risk to far. it should have been Redmond. The kid froze, not his fault Good point and happy for that but another 1-0 lead lost

It is in the balance, if we could score next we could get a point if they get the next one we will fold IMO as they are a fitter side physically and mentally
-
Perhaps he isn't as bad as many on here think. How about playing him up alongside Gabbi or instead of. His pace will cause problems
-
I agree but like last season don't have that goalscorer. As for Stephens! he was complaining and moaning that he wasn't getting a game when VVD came back in, he isn't good enough.

against Saints reserves as well?
-
perhaps that there should be some kind of alarm that goes off when threads are about to start about things of interest, that allows other posters to know that somebody else is posting the news.
-
Arsenal away?
-
but he didn't do a poor job. He may have overseen a team who couldn't put the ball in the net in the last home games, but he got us to a cup final eating top opposition on the way. (only 2 other managers in modern history have done this)

look at the time this was posted Micky, mine was posted up just as eurosaints went up, there were 2 or 3 others after mine so wind your neck in
-
the club getting liquidated got rid of Lowe
-
I bet had we got the deal tied up before VVD was sold we would not have had this happen

One question Shurlock, why is it good that imports are up in Europe, surely the exports are more important, as the imports makes Europe poorer surely??
