  1. Checkatrade.....well the last owners wouldnt have made it in to that
  2. I'm not sure about Steven yet but he did well yesterday when the Watford forward was running on goal and he shepherded him away and took the ball off him. Has VVD done the same we would be drooling about it

why has this become a left or right wing thing? Do the BBC really need more money to slop around. Surely they could cut some of the slack and become a tad more efficient. The news department is massive and I recall Huw Edwards presenting the news from the rooftop of one of the buildings in the city, and a helicopter filming him. Why ????
  4. I listened to most of the second one and found it easy listening. To be very successful you need not to be so measured and be controversial and be right arses like Savage or Danny Baker lol. Perhaps you should do interviews with some of the fans on here, Alpine , Heisenberg, etc. they would get reactions and perhaps the listening base would grow as they want to scream at the telephone. Im sure Duncan Holley would like to give some input as he could give insights to things (not that i know he would, but Im sure he would do so)
  5. 12 more points I would think, so no chance of overtaking Everton or WBA
  6. No doubt they will put forward TCWTB for musician of the year as well
  7. It would be nice if the officials actually came out and apologised. The decision had a major impact on the result, it was a major mistake that effected a lot of people.Wayne Shaw lost his job eating a pasty, what will happen to the linesman ?
  8. why would RK want to go to Barcalona? They werent the first club to have dug outs

its great but they have too much money to burn. Top of the pops from the World Cup FFS
  10. ...
  11. there was a brave one who threw a punch at him and missed, probably it was Alan Biley
  12. He must be mad!! I remember in 84 quite few Saints fans had got tickets for the Fratton End.
  13. Mourinho made a special effort to shake his hand when he left the pitch. He also mentioned his finish in his interview. I suspect he will be monitiring the situation
  14. his style is incisive short and quick passing as well as counter attacking. At present he has not got 'his' team in place. No team plays superbly every game and watching Liverpool last night with one of the 'best in the World' coaches, it shows it is not always easy. I am firmly behind Puel and as I stated some months ago he may become our best ever manager. This is quite a statement, I could never make the same when RK was in charge, although I quite liked him. Give him some time, the way he showed the world how Southampton play should give him a lot of slack by the dis believers. Stop chipping away at him and you may well see some exciting times ahead if KL etc are true to their word
  15. Forget it, you seem a sensitive type of person who lets them upset you. The reason they will do it is because it looked impressive. They will probably get to Wembley for the play offs this season and they will be able to hold their telepnones in the air if they can get enough cable
  16. The beautiful football we play at times is down to Puel. Imagine how good on the eye we will be if he is here for 2 or 3 more seasons.
  17. I saw it on the Saints fans group on FB
  18. well considering the Man Utd fans didnt bother to get into the ground untl4.20 I doubt you saw many saints fans. Listen to your manager, yep the Special one who actually knows about football, he praised the fans of our club for making the day. Can you please tell your fellow fans that it wasn't Mannequin challenge day, only at the end of the game when you realised you had got out of jail was they any movement in your fanbase. Anyway, you will be able to go wallow in the pride of a city you dont come from, for winning a competition. Funny how when you talk to Man U , Liverpool fans they always say they didnt start supporting the club bacause they were winning things. They come up with my dads grandads best mate saw the newspaper after Munich
  19. No, the feeling I had after Highbury 84 has never been felt again since that day. I still feel sick when I think of that day, the whole game we had things go against us, but again we were by far the best team. Andy Gray spent the whole game fouling but the ref just let him get aay with it.
  20. thats interesting as Yosh was trying to take the ball short at goalkicks, perhapstrying to protect his leg
  21. He was far to close to his near post and the ball went it about 4 foot from his far post from a shot 30 odd yards out. I want FF to do well but at present he has lost his nerve
  22. I try and defend players but FF made a cardinal error yesterday. I have for a while questioned Dave Watsons abilities as a goalkeeping coach, none of our keepers have improved under his stewardship.Surely positioning at a free kick should be worked on or talked about. He is so flat footed, I thought you should be on the toes waiting to spring. De Gea made a magnificent save from JWP, I doubt FF would have got near it.
  23. Had to watch bits of the game I had recrded yesterday and have never seen MLT so heated about an incident. He was like a real fan and couldnt hide the fact how useless the lino was. The lino is supposed to be the cream of the lot to get to officiate in a final, to be so wrong is appalling.
  24. I know you like to be controversial but get it a rest on a day after such a disappointing result. Puel showed with a lesser quality squad that he made them really concerned and the way they celebrated when they scored the 3rd they knew they had got out of jail.
  25. we sang a coule of others, but OWTS is an anthem for us that all can sing. I suppose you wanted us to sing about Pompey lol At least we sang one more song than those United fans. Pathetic bunch, there end was just a dark soulless mire
