From someone who is not likely to get a ticket, I think the club have been as fair as possible. People who put money in the coffers now should get priority. Away fans are die hard fans, I agree, but they in the main are not spending money with the club when going to those games. I suspect 99% of those will have a S/T or attendence to get a ticket. There will always be genuine fans who miss out, and sadly for me Iam going to be on of them as i gave up my S/T after many many years due to business commitments. I was there in the dark days but Im not there now and so I have to accept my lot. I could of course make up a 'X-Factor' stroy to try and get somebody give me a ticket like I have read on social media but I cant stoop ot that.

VVD out for 2-3 months, makes you wonder what our physios were thinking leaving on the pitch for a couple of minutes after thier initial look!!!

If it wasnt Man U there would loads around at that level but I have been looking and they are considerably more

i think that any fan who has an attendance record will get tickets, it is longtime fans like myself who have not gone regularily for a couple of seasons who are missing out potentially. Going along for the previous 47 seasons does not help me, but I respect that the club need to look after the fans here and now. I hope fate will get me a couple but it is looking grim at present.

Personally it seems to me that Fonte was squeezed out for finances. Get the best money for him while they could, it definately was not a football decision. I still cant work out why he neve played in the European games unless of course that was to keep his value for any prospective buyers, but in the end was meaningless. I just hope they have judged Stephens coreectly and he will slip in alongside Yoshida until VVD comes back.

This is something I have felt and voiced. I do understand the other side of the coin though, we dont want to go down the Pompey route (although they do have another trophy to brag about) Our fanbase has been brainwashed to be happy to be also rans, although I do see there is a little more agitation and frustration with the clubs policy from the younger fans. When I was at school it seemed to me I was one of a very few who supported Saints and had to put up with the plastic fans of other clubs who were successful in the day, notibly Liverpool and Man Utd Perhaps if we are to be the fans who watch the acadamy players etc brought here to play to ready for sale, perhaps the club should charge ticket prices like they did for the Arsenal game.
