I think his admission that he took a bet on a game will put paid to that

as soon as I saw england were going to be in Marsaille it was obvious that there was going to be major problems. As I suspect other older fans would have mentioned wen we went there in 77. yes England fans have idiots, the locals and Russians are not choirboys. Marseille should noy have been a footballing venue

There is nothing wrong with pride in history. England fans sing about winning 2 world wars and ! world cup, none of them were there and so they are only living in reflected glory. It means sweet FA to modern day football. i was at the 76 cup final and often love the nostalgia of being there on the day, but I dont think it means anything to a fan of anther club. Everton are a bigger club than Saints but do not get the impression that you are famous for your trophy winning efforts, the most modern football fans werent alive or of an age to notice the last time tou won the league. You are famous as you have been in the top leagues for the majority of history and so your name came up more often than others. Considering you have had more goes at winning the top league than anybody else your trophy collection is not that good. Especially when you were obviously the flat track bullies pre war as you had plenty of resources up against all the other fledgking clubs. Everton are a big club, not a massive club and you trophies pre 1980 are irrelevant to the modern game IMO

If Leicesyer have offered 2 for the Watford forward then we should get 15m minimum for Pelle if we let him go. not every forward needs to be super mobile, you just need someone lively around him. Pelle is an intelligent player who makes knockdown a and passes for others. He also scored goals, how many points did his goals get us last season?
-
it is amazing how foolish some fans are. Pelle's scoring record is worth 15m to us as a forward. I feel that if he played at another club fans on here would be champing at the bit to buy him. Be careful what you wish for IMo as i believe Austin and Jay cant berelied on to play let alone score enough goals
-
Moyes wouldn't be a disaster IMO, he seems honourable and the horse has bolted for him to get another top job with a massive club. if the club want the players to have more discipline/work harder then I suggest he's the best option that the club will like
-
even your user name is a failure lol. Let's try and cloak Liverpools obvious more recent successful history by saying its what went before the 2nd world war that is important. it must be something to do with solid blue shirts.

Another 1st for Everton to add to their list, spunking 7m wages on him
-
have we had our new sponsor announced yet? If not it shpukd be a headhunter company like Reed
-
lol
-
we would go down with Adkins
-
Imagine what Celtic fans think of us? No doubt some of ours go on their site telling them we are bigger lol
-
His brother is the cheapest option and so knowing Saints!!! I did post that this was going to be the case from what I heard some months ago
-
With the modern day wealthy footballer, that is likely to fall flat on its face.
-
ive just had to get the atlas out to find the City of Everton. I think we had better get Interpol on the case as it seems to have been erased.
-
thanks for that. I had always thought that Everton had never been relegated but apparently they have. They did get promotion the next season though.
-
They have t won the league for 30years
-
the thing is,Kpeman is taking a big gamble with his career. Yes he can walk to the bank smiling, but if he fails at a 2nd grade club like Everton he will never get a big job. I always felt that Poch would go on to better things when he left, but I'm not sure that Koeman has got that little extra. It will be funny if Big Dunc is one of the first people he pushes out, as that will really put RK on the wrong foot
-
surely we should look at league records, not Europa league stuff. I have mentioned it before that his team were the only team in Europe not to win away in the league. Surely that is a concern about team formation and mindset, let alone getting a decent league position
-
His writing style is very much in the Corp Ho manner
-
lol , the club tried to keep Koeman but were not bloody stupid enough to offer him the wages of the 6 th highest manager in the world. I'm disappointed but am well over him going to yours as there is a wealth of mangers who could do the same job. Pottichino was a real loss, as you could see a rapid improvement in average players, under Koeman we saw decent football but not exciting football. I would get ready or never having the same team 2 weeks running even after a win.
-
about time to get something straight, Koeman is only joining you for £££££££££££££££££££. He and others turned you down until you were desperate then doubled and more his wages. Everton talk about history, and sing that joke song about it. You have played in the top division more than everyone but Arsenal, then look at what you have won and it is not much really. Liverpool are the big club in your area and dwarf you big time. You are at the 2nd level of big teams ( that is being kind). We are a large provincial club that you are on your knees to, begging for our manager. So go away and think about your situation, you are run by a bloke who directs musicals and looks like Elton John on steroids...period
-
Lol, after we have had the compensation I assume
-
I think you are right, and your assessment of AVB joining was as I see it.
-
i thought it was a childish. To wish somebody dead because he left a football club!!!!! Come on CB you,re better than that
